Overheard conversation between Huss & Punter when Hauritz came back on.
When I said bring Haus back on I didn't mean sh*thouse.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Horribleitz bowled his one good ball of the test to bowl Pujara in the seventies.

Only fifty to win, MJ and Hilf are bowling.

Rahul Dravid plays a cross bat shot for the first time in Tests, and there's 2 runs to go.

Chants of "India, India" and I thought it was "Paramore, Paramore."

Tendulkar has scored 401 runs for the Series, Brod is that a two-Test series record?

Maiden over from MJ, jeez this is nailbiting stuff...

The way Ponting took time just now to place his field, you would think the match was finely posied, rather than 2 runs in near a full session, with 7 wickets in the shed.

Sachin hits two fine to win the Test.

He was born when Ted Mulry, Skyhooks and Sherbet where making hit records
He is 37 years old
Im trying to think if Ive seen a player who has ever batted as well at his age in Test Cricket
Perhaps the Don did, but didnt see him bat.
Sachin Tendulkar in 2010 is averaging almost 100 this year in about a dozen test games

My B Grade side could probably squeeze him in...

Overpaid, underperforming primma-donnas. Bet the selectors wont swing the axe and the current team will struggle to beat the poms.

We all know what Indian pitches will play like but the selectors dont have a clue. CA needs to put results ahead of revenue. Im sick of hearing groundsmen say they are preparing a pitch to last 5 days and to try to gey a result on day 5. Stuff that I dont care if we win inside 2 days as long as we win. Next time India tours id have all pitches as green as the outfield and as bouncy as the old WACA. Play 4 quicks and roll them in 3 days.

AU was 1 poor umpiring LBW decision away from winning the first test
AU could at worst then have drawn the series 1-1
Would have meant this team did better than the great recent teams that have lost in India

Then the 37 year old superstar virtually beat AU by himself test 2

That form is good enough to beat England

We played 4 quicks in Perth last time India were here.
Didn't work, they won.

Yeah but the current WACA pitch is a shadow of the great old pitch. Every country produces wickets to suit their strengths yet Australia produces wickets to get gate revenue and tv ratings. We need to find a strength and use it to our advantage

Gavin robertson is the only person in the world that gives Hauritz a pass mark and has named him in his 1st test at the GABBA.

Does Robbo and Horro have anything in common??????????

PLENTY - And I'll start the ball rolling with the fact they wore light blue on their head and got a test gig when they definitely didn't deserve it.

Not sure if Australias form is good enough to be the Poms.

AUSSIES IN DECLINE ( Last 4 Tests )

Watson - Ave - 42
Ponting - Ave - 40
Katich - Ave - 37
Paine - Ave - 36
Hussey - Ave - 24
North - Ave -22
Clarke - Ave - 22

Bollinger - 10 wkts - Ave 26
Hilfenhaus - 14 wkts - Ave 32
Johnson - 11 wkts - Ave 43
Hauritz - 6 wkts - Ave 65
Watson - 13 wkts - Ave 15
North - 7 wkts - Ave 15
Smith - 3 wkts - Ave - 27

Plenty of concern there MAL I belive. Hussey has to got to go, North saved himself this test, Clarke will need runs in 1st couple of Tests. Johnson must step up. Hauritz may be gone.
Cadets 1st Test Team @ GABBA
