Can still remember all those 'next decade' polls that predicted 90s dominance for Charlotte, Orlando and San Antonio...

PHILADELPHIA -- Unwanted by the NBA, Allen Iverson is considering playing in China
Gary Moore, Iverson's personal manager, said Iverson has not been contacted by any NBA team with training camps set to open in less than two weeks. Moore said there is "legitimate interest" between Iverson and a team in China to work out a deal. Moore did not know the team's name and was vague on details.

"We're very astonished, to say the least, that not one team has contacted us with any interest," Moore said. "I just don't understand it."
Iverson played three games for Memphis last season before he returned for a second stint with the Philadelphia 76ers. He averaged 13.9 points for the Sixers before he took a leave of absence in March because of family issues.

I just cant believe the manager and AI are so shocked

Same franchise. Completely different teams! :D

Probably easy to forget now what a sensation David Robinson was when he first hit the league.

Still, he could never take the Spurs to the NBA Finals.

Poor SOB probably still has nightmares about the '95 Western Finals...

Net's seem to be the front runner for Melo at the moment. Still a lot of work to do though.

Training Camps begin in a week.

That is a good comment and he also had one of the top 5 coaches of all time in Larry Brown coaching him and when Brown got fired he actually admitted that he should have done more for him - something you don't get from NBA stars today

Hakeem certianly owned him that series. However i am sure that the 3 championships the Admiral won after 95 have gone some way to erasing that memory.

Robinson was a gun in his day although his scoring title was won under crappy circumstances (I think he scored 57 points on the final night of the season to make sure he won it. His team just kept feeding him so he would win it.)

By the time he played on a decent Spurs team it was Duncan's team.

71 points. From memory I think he needed to score 69 to beat out Shaq for that season's scoring title.
