surprised they could not even form 1 team . Who will be the likely team to come up to Div 1 ?? this is terrible only 5 days out from round 1 .

Also classy effort from NEK coming into the clubrooms for a drink and a chat....they even gave me a standing ovation while i recieved a trophy for my four wickets last year, thanks guys.

Does that mean Pidge gets a trophy for every 4 runs also?

I think we will be making it a club rule to stay back and have a beer at opposition grounds (if they have facilities). It's always good to have a bit of a chat after the game.

NEK have stitched up the 'Fair Play and Nice Guys' award after last weeks effort, they've gone one better agreeing to an early start with Rose Park this week, so the Rose Park boys can attend one of their players weddings.

this is where i feel for the exec. They do their best to get the program out so everyone
has it by the first game, and then a club pulls out 2 teams with a week to go!

the exec. cant win sometimes.....

Survey time.....

Who's the best player at opposition clubs?

Vote for one only with the criteria being, if you were an AFL recruiting manager and had the top pick from each club who would it be?

Mine

NEK-Baldo
Vi$ta-Spintwin ;)
Rose Park-Reidy
Fitzies-Bloody boofhead

GRADE 1

NEK to beat vista in the big one.

just think they might finally break through been around the mark for a long time now deserve to win a div1 flag although saying that vista have had a great run and do deserve to be favourites.

BATTING-

reidy- class act highly rated by me as a batsmen
marshall- alot like reidy class all round game and a great bloke to go with.
hodo- awsome if you bowl to short of to full can score quickly can take the game away from you in no time.

must mention gorski, gigs and atkins like them all as batsmen all 3 will be around the mark

bowling

baldo- cant go past the old workhorse bowls a simple way you miss he hits and his very good at it.
wiles- what he lacks in pace he more than makes up for in qaulity areas will go well
vines- again very good bowler fair pace nice lengths

marshall always gets wickets, the bloke from adel. luth cant remember his name but took a few last year goes alright.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

GRADE 2

paralowie to get over seaton by a wicket in the big dance.

paralowie should go ok and with seaton picking up the western IX players should be interesting.

BATTING

matty ralph- new to paralowie looks a very good middle order batsmen iv just got a feeling his going to go well.
m.boffa- the back bone of the AC blues he'll hit around the 500 mark again i would say
mark frith- yep mark not aaron just think his ready doesnt like the quicker bowlers so div2 will suit class act tho.

a.frith will score plenty, wright has a knack of always scoring a few, and holland may miss a few early but is very keen to score plenty.

BOWLING

domo- super year last year ave. around the 10 mark per wicket nothing more needs to be said.
pete graham- another year of snr cricket under his belt just needs a little more control and could be a gun
bryce norton- very good spin bowler i'm guessing he'll take 20 odd wickets holds up an end very well to.

barnes will be around the mark again, paul wright alot like his batting will always get a few

I think NEK will knock off Vi$$ta in the GF, like Carey said have been around the mark for a couple years now and im confident they are ready to take the next step.

Gorksi is due for a big year IMO.

Div 2 - I think Paralowie will be very hard to beat, i think Carey will prob be the premier batsman in the div - he is the only one with any sort of patience!

I think Paul Wright will take plenty wickets and score plenty of runs, he really is the backbone in the Central Mission side and will bear most of the workload, will be interesting to see how CM go again in Div2 again.

Guess we really wont know until after this saturday
