India vs Australia-2nd Test

Postby Gozu » Sat Oct 09, 2010 12:06 am

The second and final Test starts at 2:30pm on Saturday, pre-match show starting at 2pm. Sounds like Bollinger is going to struggle to come up so Peter George might make his Test debut.

A few years ago I spotted this skinny kid bowling in the Adelaide Oval nets
He was quick and had the AU + EG batsman jumping around a fair bit
I was impressed
I asked on SAFOOTY who this kid was
He was identified later as Peter George

I then said that this net bowler had the potentail to be a Big Name player
Peter George is now on the verge of playing Test Cricket

You all kmow how I love to bright light, big note myself
But to pick out a net bowler who is about to play Test cricket is startling

Are teams final. George in for Dougie? If thats the only change we are in trouble. From all reports its a spinners pitch, now if we only had a good one!!! Id give the ball to kat and pup before hauritz. No smith = JOKE

Another brilliant Cameo from the 'talented' Clarke. One four and he's gone.

Not a bad finish by the looks of things. The only concern would be that everyone got starts but were unable to go on with it.

I'm not bringing this up as a defence of Hauritz but it was interesting when the Fox guys mentioned today the career bowling averages for great spinners in India with guys like Murali, Warne & Vettori all having bowling averages in the 40's & 50's.

Probably not the first or last time wristy and twat are used in the same sentence...

Hauritz simply not good. At least 3 other guys in that team all get more turn than he does and meant to be frontline spinner. And im sure watto and punter and several others would aswell if they had an over or two of tweekers!!!
