Ladhams weighing up his options whilst holidaying in Bali at the moment.
Big chance for the package deal at Jervois. Much closer than Nhill, for a little less coin.
Decision in the coming days.................. ;)

I heard Ladhams was telling everyone that he was coaching at Kaniva in 2011 even before he put pen to paper. I think the blokes at Nhill new more about it than anyone else. I bet they werent too happy hearing about their coach leaving after they just played in a grandfinal. From what ive heard Kaniva have chosen a more conservative coaching option, one that will build the club for a number of years not just one. Good luck to Jervois, they should get a lot of BANG for their buck!

The buzz around the place is that its done!!

2x Ladhams, Coulter & White all to Jervois 2011. Chris the player/coach.

Wonder how the Mypolonga guys feel about this?

Mypo guys may be a bit pissed off i reckon. What bout the wise man T.Richards and the young buck M.Moller? Jervois surprised a few by not taking either. Surely a few people from the bluds wanted Tim back. Only time will tell if it was a good move. Will Jervois current paid players still be required under Ladhams?

A few did want the old fella back but i guess a few didnt & thought Ladhams was a better option.
Lyons would of been the only one on $$. Can they now afford to keep him is a big question?

Yeh wow I think it was probably a bit of pay back for Richards taking there players last year. What a turn around from the bluds comitee though! last year they wanted to develop kids and not pay players . Thats what they said any way, but maybe they just couldnt get players for what they were paying? Now they realise they have to spend to be competitive but they have recruited a bunch of over thirties who eveyone questions how long they will be around, and how long can Jervois sustain these payments. They will have enough to keep Lyons as long as they keep him captain. My mail is not enough money for what Ewer will want though. If things go pear shaped this year Mr Hicks and his Merry men will definately feel the heat. If Ladhams can finish top two my hat goes of to him . I doubt it though!!!

Some interesting points MM. Richards taking 3 or 4 players with him last year wouldnt have helped his chances returning to the bluds in 2011 but dont think it would have been pay back not choosing him. Has Ladhams 100% got the job yet or is he on holidays deciding?? Rumours around the bridge are Jervois still keen on bringing back Ewer. With the amount Ladhams and co would be on, the bluds must be selling off some dairy farms/cattle :D

Imperial Football Club Senior Presentations were on Friday Night-

Shane Snell has stood down as president and looks like David Daish will take the Presidency on next year.
David Schencher has Announced his retirement, will only go and do U9/U11 from now on.
"Rumor" Imperials have asked Chris Ladhams to think about going to Imperials to be a Player/Coach in 2011 with Tony Fielke looking at doing just Reserves ("please note this is something i heard life members talking about so not sure if 100% true")

New LifeMembers Stevie Summner, Travis Lienert, Peter Daniels, Greg Gogel.

League Best and Fairest- Tyson Wait and Luke Harrowfield Tied
amazing season by Luke Harrowfield his best at the club, he had more of a chance to play midfield this year and he would of won the B&F straight out if he didnt get injured in last round, Tyson Wait had a good solid season playing mainly CHB.

League Runner Up B&F- Jamie Honner
Struggled a bit with Injury but made an impact on the season, he showed good signs in 2009 was more consistant this season WILL be pulling on the Blue again next season. "Rumour has it that there is 2 more EP boys coming to Imperials to join the EP BLUES"

Reserves Best and Fairest- Craig Pearson
Had a good solid season struggled a bit with injury and a few extra kg, good with both feet and will push for League spot if he gets fit, good to see him take the B&F with his father having alot to do with the club hopefully he will put in a hard preseason an come out and cement a spot in A grade.

Reserves Runner Up B&F- Ben Trenordan
This lad has made a great story, last season was his first in seniors?(I think) and was a junior captain at Imperials, came into seniors and couldnt get a game due to so many backman, he missed out on the Reserves Grand Final in 2009 and it looked like he was going to leave club, but he stuck it out and came back and blitzed all the Full Forwards he stood and he went from not being in best 21 in reserves in 2009 to becoming (MY B&F) 2nd best.
this lad should play alot more league games in coming years and watch out FF's he is a hard nut and wont let his oppenent get easy touch.

All in All was a very good night.
