Buy a Michael Bolton CD and insist on playing it at full volume for a whole week. :D

So as I might've mentioned thirty-odd times already, I had a small sojourn to Adelaide this weekend.

Left about 7 a.m. Saturday- copped abuse about leaving so early (hence waking the mole up)
Got home about 3ish today, and the mole was unable to:

Wheel the bins out (the first time she has had to do this)

Clean up the childs urine (she is attempting toilet training, fair enough, but he'd obviously pissed himself, and the pissy clothes, and puddle were on the floor and she had taken the kid out)

Wash her dishes (that were there last friday when I left)

Get her "smalls" off my chair (If I was to touch them that would nearly be a criminal offence)

Replace anything she had consumed (basics like milk, bread, etc)

So I was able to fix these things, except the bin, that's just going to be overfull next week), and only copped one spray (moving her knickers, which she had clearly gotten into a twist), and I made the vital mistake of telling her that I didn't appreciate it...

I'm going to start taking your advice... Pants are off! 8)

Are there any sheep in the proximity? You could go and take one from the nearest farm and shut it in her bedroom. Actually, a goat would be even better because then not only would it crap all over everything but it would eat her clothes and anything else it could fit in its mouth. And then she would yell at you for putting a goat in her room and you would say 'What goat?' and totally get away with it because seriously, who actually gets a goat and puts it in someone's room? Even if there was clearly a goat in your house, to the outside observer it would be just as likely to have wandered in by itself as for a person to have put it there deliberately.

Also, do you know anyone who plays the tuba? Or bagpipes? You could hold concerts at seven in the morning. If you can't get your hands on either of these instruments, a harmonica from the two-dollar shop ought to work nearly as well.

When I last lived on my own, there was a druggie in the same block of units, who always had 3 a.m. stand up drunken/whacked arguments with her off-again-on-again male friends...

When it got too much for me, I downloaded one Elton John song, the original Candle in the Wind, and blared it on repeat all night.

I got really smashed, and past out, woke up at seven or eight the next morning, music still going.

Had no problems for like two weeks, then she moved out 8)

Might be different when the offensive person is in the house, and can easily turn my music down...

Mp I think your housemate and my housemtes girlfriend should get together and go bowling.

Went to have a shower this morning (after being kept awake most of the night by the impromptu party those who dont have to work decided to have)
only to find three cigarette buts and a soiled contraceptive device on the floor in the shower.
went downstairs to demand removal and was met with a volley of abuse for daring to wake them up.

Had shower @ work.

These stories, although midly entertaining, are horrific in most cases.

You guys really are in a pickle. You MP just need to be a rude prick I think...

MP I reckon nudity is your best option. As soon as you get home, become naked. Perfect time of the year for it. Yep, get naked.

But seriously, kick her the **** out big fella!

Its amazing how ONE persom can effectively ruin a formally happy household.

I got home from yesterday at around 4pm to find my housemates son alone in the house
because "their sleeping and Im not allowed to wake them up"
"How long have they been in bed" I ask
"they havn't been up all day"
he was starving hungry and bored out of his brain
so I made him a ouple of Sandwiches and offered to take him to the park
He asks his dad. Answer? No
we go to the backyard for a ick. Last about three minutes before being yelled at out the window to knock it off.
so inside and fire up the PS3 Same result.

FFS why would you bother having you son over if all you r'e going to do is ignore him.

When they finally surface at around 6.30 pm She abuses me for feeding the boy as they had plans to go out for tea!

I Drag housemate aside and point out that just because he is finally getting some, It does NOT mean he can abandon his responsibilities to his son
AND it is unfair to assume that I will automatically pick up the slack.

Fast forward to 1.30 am this morning. The downstairs Tv is so loud that they are yelling at each other just to be heard over it
I go downstairs to ask them to keep it down as both myself and son are awake. Only to be told "Its on the same level as always so I dont know what your complainig about"

Then son comes and wakes me up @ 4.45 am "They're asleep now so we can finish the soccer game!"
God love him. But is it just me or is something seriously wrong here?

F*** I'm going to nominate you for Australian of the Year. Yes, something is wrong - your housemate is neglecting his child, and his piece of arse is assuming an authority that she is not entitled to. I think you're doing a terrific thing by being there for the kid, but his father certainly needs to pull his finger out (or penis out... of... yeah, you get it).

Trev. If your housemate isn't going to look after their kid, print this post out, and give it to them:

How old is the lad there Trev. Also Top job on what your are doing. I agree with you why should you pick up the slack and remind your house mate that his lad will have a long memory and remember what you did to him.

Hey Media have you got rid of yours yet if you need some good ammo take a dump into the top of the toilet where the water that you flush is before you go out for a few hours and then see what happens.

The lad is 9.

The thing is, before the girlfriend arrived on the scene, My housemate was a good dad who always made time for his son.
Now, I'm seeing another side to my mate and I'm pretty sure I dont like it.

The secondary solution (which will likely save the friendship, if you want to), is to quietly break up the relationship.

Easy enough to do... and everything goes back to normal.

Only small issue is, if I remember your earlier posts on this issue, does this mole live next door?
