Stop this constant sniggering of Sir Shane
And get your facts right.
He would have pulled the hamstring when the Bandy 120km thunderbolt hit his pad

Not this time mal. In this case the fact that Watson isn't very good is what is impeding his career.

Vic have a better chance of taking outright points by thinking that our 1st innings was a fluke and we will collapse leaving them a total of about 300 to chase

Exactly. Plus it makes no difference to Victoria if we get points from this game, they are after the 6 points. Good declaration, and something I would never have expected from Victorian teams over the years.

Mal, it's only a contrived match if the Redbacks offer the Vics a benevolent total to chase in return. It will be interesting to see how the Redbacks approach this game. For mine, I think our batsmen need to spend time in the middle, and not be thinking about setting targets.

Cosgrove out for 19.

Redbacks 4/107 Borgas 48 n.o.

Cosgrove batted 64 balls for his 19, including 3 boundaries. This means he made only 7 runs from the other 61 balls, something he needs to address ... as well as other issues. He needs to take more singles.
