Marcus North is second to lowest run getter out of the top 6, with Watson only averaging mid - high 20's. Was rather suprised when i saw that.\

The Kat averaging the most with just abvove 63

Pretty small group of data to take it from though.
How many tests have they played this calendar year? 4 or 5?

Did Ponting's 200 in Tassie count in that or was that pre-xmas - I can't remember.

Watson didn't get many against Pakistan in England. Katich did.

Ponting run out for 71.

He's become a lazy runner in the last few years:

Ponting seemed to be taking it easy after starting quickly

Zaheer Khan started shooting his mouth off at Ponting as he was returning to the pavilion and Billy Bowden had to intervene. If it were any other country he would probably lose a fair chunk of his match fee but I guess he'll get off scott free because if the match referee dares to penalise him the BCCI will probably threaten to forfeit the series

On a brighter note there's a grass stain around Watson's crutch - looks like he's wet himself
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Watching some of the coverage on Fox at work (about to tune in again at home), and they mentioned that Ponting has been run out 14 times in Test cricket... Apparently a Test record.

I've seen him get run out twice "live."

This time, and once in an Ashes series, by Gary Pratt...

Neither time he has been very agreeable to the decision...

Is this just a Punterism upon a run-out, or did I just see two of the all time special ones?

WATTTTOOO00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 100
3 innings in India this tour
3 innings in India as an opener
3 hundreds

Im glad the selectors have not tried to remould him as a middle order allrounder

Averging about 50 as a Test opener
