Spoke to a mate who is involved at Henley. Belives they will dominate Southern League. Hart a strongley built midfielder, who has played league football for the Eagles, think he is about 27 years old, coached Henleys Div one B grade last year. Biglands big strong utility who played his best footy last year across half back. Both class players, but doe's Aldinga have anyone else to help them out.

Saints07 hey, if ur mate thinks they that good why havent u tried to contact them or him if he involved with a club, u cant tell me that players would go from A1 amature to Aldinga in the SFL and be that good. the bloke that told me they no good coached them last year and has a magary medal and about 8 premierships to his name might take his opinion over ur mates. How ur boys looking Saints?

Aldinga has had a Brownlow medallist coach in the late 80's, Teasdale, just before 2 premierships with Steve Keam as coach (ex- SANFL). Maybe they want a new start and to help a struggling club become competitive?

Cant see why stokes is on big coin, hardly dominated the SFL maybe one good game in 10.

Wouldn't be getting him for his work rate that is for sure.

Reeves

If that is true then it would be a huge loss for Christies. Has a good mark and can kick a bag .

Does anybody here know a bloke by the name of Tom Roberts. Had a mate who played full forward in the AFL tell me that this bloke was the best full back he ever played on including the AFL. Apparently a big, quick, strong player with excellent disposal by both hand and foot. Apparently could not only hold the best full forwards going around but could win a game off his own boot as well. I heard he was playing down this way somewhere and wondered what a player like that might be worth - $800 a game?

Tom played for Christies last 2 seasons, winning A grade best and fairest 2005. Didnt know he was a full back, played in the ruck for us. Not a big goal kicker, so I dont know if he would win a game off his own boot. Is a top player though and will be missed this year, he has been lured back to Aldinga for 2007 season.
