hmm i thought it was quoted on another thread that your count had already taken place and flyn-sinodinos won with you being the runner up and thatchy coming third, and on the argument about placeings in the medal, presler came 4th in a side that won 1 game. should put it on the D3 thread see what everyone thinks who deserved to be in there out of the 2 of them its a big toss up and im not sure who deserved the spot, but IMO the side looks pretty bloody good to me

Where did Presler finish in Kilburns B and F?
I thought i saw a post a while back and i dont think he won their B and f either?

reckon he was runner up from memory, missed about 4-5 games while overseas too.

The way I look at it is there is 10 teams and if all had 2 players picked would make 20. Top teams probably get more bottom less and the guys that a few of you are discussing are only fringe type players anyway and on the Interchange. The top players pick themselves and the rest fit into a category of about 15 who could probably take there spot. Probably a tough gig to pick these sides anyways. Dont think Umpires votes should have anything to do with it either iMO

Having played with both Corey Pressler and Thachy, i know who i'd have in my team and it certainly isnt Corey

good to hear the para hills bias is still going strong, if pressler was still at para hills he would have thoroughly deserved his spot in the team. Maybe the selectors wanted an in and under player in the team and not an outside runner that doesn't slow down to kick the ball...

do you think pressler would get a game at para hills??

from a completely non-bias outsider yes i do. he was best on by a mile and was the only one from kilburn (both times) that took it to us (pac).

thach was stiff yes, but imo i'd take pressler before him.

i have a similar view as you teaoby, both times we played kilburn pressler was by far kilburns best player. dont get me wrong i rate thatchy but i think pressler was more consistent for the full year, plus thatchy missed a few early.

para hills very average side and pressler would bolt a game in and be in the first 6 picked. you blokes forget you finished 8th and lucky to avoid going to divvy 4. 1 or 2 really good players a few handy ones and a lot of average ones

I've played against both and IMO Thach is a fair bit better than Pressler.
Thats my 2 cents.

easily... and apparently I'm not the only one. ;) the problem with para hills is that you think no one is allowed to leave the club, if someone does they are a shit player or a wanker. you's are not the hells angels or mafia, people can leave...

thach left para hills for salis north, after watching his trial games i thought he would play a grade for them but they played kids like tyson devires and ricky thomas instead.. couldn't work it out myself and didn't blame valor for going back to para hills

Ok, read everything that's has been said and reckon it's all a joke, seriously there is better things to be talked About. My inclusion in a mock side of the year should be thought about and not bagged. I did do my best in a side that is improving, in that side I am the second oldest person and am looking forward to the challenge of divvy 4 next, hanno, it's Not fair u wanna rate wen I played with u in u/15s, we were different Players back then,! That's another topic I think.. :) the discussion between me and thachy is crazy. We are two completely different Players, thachy is better skilled and a flashier and with exerience is going to be a fantastic and hard footballer to stop. Very good person to have Round the club And para hills should respect people like that.

I did train With u Guys a few yrs ago and u were happy to see me then. We move on and In life make decisions whether right or wrong and play the cards that are dealt to us, good luck in div 3 and we hope to see u next yr.

I must admit i watched Corey start his senior career & wondered how he'd go?
but since watching play this year i think he's turned out to be a good player, an will only improve over the next 4years or so..
well done to Corey
