There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Attitude like that you would fit in very well at Gepps actually so off you toddle and play there and do what the rest of their recruits do and walk after a season or two.

If you are related to the same Merki that took pathetic potshots at clubs last year, then I suggest you take your bat and ball and play with yourself.... ;)

So MTG, tell us how good you really are. Pretty sure there are some ATCA clubs around that would accomodate a player of your ability. Post some stats for us so we can all enjoy your career. I just trying to hunt up Mark Sorrell's phone number so you can contact him direct!!!!!!!!!

Concordia looking good for a crack in A2 this season, after a premeirship in A3 last year.
Bjorn Pederson to captain A grade and big Locky Westbrook back to lead the attack!

Hopefully for the Hornets they haven't lost that quality slow bowler Shaun O'Connor. Wicket taker, great fielder, potential galor with the bat and all round good guy. They need him to have any chance of a promotion to A1.

We have lost one bat Azza, and a few guys unavailable until rounds 3 and 4, but I don't think we are desperate enough to gain the services of someone like Merki. By the sound of his ability, he could cover the hole left at your club by Vaughany?

I did see some action in a game last year (PDCA heat rule stopped us playing) an O'Connor was handy, plus a game vs Port Districts a couple years back when this Shaun fella got spanked everywhere. Must have been an off match.

On a side note, the Lodge played Modbury in a 20/20 match yesterday, and apparently (anyone from Modbury can confirm or deny) they have lost a few quality players. Could struggle to stay in A2 this year.

Modbury are in serious trouble. Will be in A3s in 2011/12 season.
