Only one ruckman?
Mills v Greiger?

Could argue that Heath Lawry had just as good, if not better a season than those 2 lads, who I agree, both also had very good seasons...

Genuine question.

Did either of Heath Lawry or Andrew Hayes play Reserves during the year?

Lawry played the first game in the 2's as he missed a couple of weeks of pre-season being away on his honeymoon...

Hayes may have come back from injury in a game in the magoos but I'm not 100% sure, I don't think he did though...

Why do you ask?

Thanks, Phil.

I asked as I thought I'd seen both of them play Reserves, but I wasn't sure.

Obviously if they'd played Ressies because of form, it would be strange to select them in a Team of the Year, but you've explained it would have been after injury, so no problem.

I didn't really rate the Advertiser writers as being good judges.

I still don't...

Not only the amazing exclusion of Hayes, Lawry and Spurr, but no Parry ... not even any second ruckman or Alleway and Chambers is in despite having his poorest season for some time.

Just so long as they get Brenton Honor in as an expert and tips Norwood I'll forgive them. Reckon BH has a 0/10 record out of the last 10 GFs.
