IE7

Time to update, wondering if Mozilla is a better option.

I assume you mean Firefox (Mozilla do a few different things).
I find Firefox more secure and quicker, no brainer for me.

Holy shit mate, Netscape Navigator would be almost as useful as IE7

IE8, let alone IE7, won't support HTML5!

FF can apparently be slow sometimes, but keep up with the constant updates for best performance. I've never had any problems with it.

Mozilla Firefox 4 will be launched soon too.

Here is a graph that can pictorialise it better than I can put it into words (regarding IE8):

LOL, how relevant is HTML5 compatibility when it hasn't even been ratified yet? #-o

I've been using Firefox for several years now and I prefer it. Tried Opera but I do quite a few online surveys and found a lot wouldn't work with anything other than IE or Firefox.

DW why don't you download Firefox and give it a try. Shouldn't take long...even my netbook only took a few minutes to download it. If you don't like it you can always delete/remove it and go back to IE or try one of the others.

JAS

Good advice JAS ... the beauty here is that they're all free, so really how can you go wrong?

Just try them!

Got about 8 browsers, usually just click whichever one the mouse randomly goes to.

Prefer Safari mostly lately.

A friend of mine is trying out a beta version of IE9, but he says he won't give Firefox up for it.
I have been using Firefox mainly, for the last year, having downloaded an English language version [i.e. not English US] from Mozilla Europe.

However, the latest incarnation of Firefox has become a bit of a RAM hog, tending not to release it when you close subsidiary tabs.
At one stage it was using over 900MB of my 2GB, and that slows everything down a bit.
So, every so often I close it and look up the process that stays active and kill it, then restart Firefox.

In many ways I like Opera better, and find it is faster, but it doesn't handle storing passwords under master password protection as well as Firefox.
Recently I have found I can't open eStatements on the ANZ site with Firefox and have gone back to Opera for that.
I'll probably switch back to Opera when and if its password handling is improved.

I've dabbled with Safari and Chrome, but I don't like their Bookmarking system - Safari was worse than Firefox with the ANZ site.
Konquerer on Linux KDE set ups was not bad and seemed to work with the banks too.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
