I agree their has been a noticeable change since about 2000 among the patients I was seeing.
People have become less reliable about keeping appointments or ringing to let you know in sufficient time - if at all.
These days if they don't turn up, instead of apologising, they get stroppy because you didn't have staff chase them the day before, [and perhaps come round to make their breakfast for them].
