Not knowing if I have a really impressive hangover still, or if I have contracted a virus of some sort... As word of my efforts on saturday rolled thru work, my co-workers were less than considerate (rightly so), but if I have actually gotten a sickness of some sort, it will be hard to convince them...

Children pulling their parents up on tarty dressing!

I was putting Angus to sleep when he pointed at my chest and said 'Can you put those back in, please?' I couldn't think of one thing to say in reply!

Oh, and my parenting has also gone out the window. We were out at dinner for Mr McSpaz's birthday and Angus was climbing on everything and shouting, so I was being Anal-Mum and saying things like 'Sit up properly!' and 'That's bad manners!' Then a person sneezed really loudly and I cracked up. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Unfortunately sneezing is something that really sets me off in the same way that tubas do. I don't know why. :? But it was just no use to tell Angus to behave after that one.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

This doesn't give me the sh1ts per se but it does make me feel very sad - Luke getting his immunisations. He's all happy and smiley and then the needle goes in and he howls and I feel awful. :( But it has to be done - better a bit of discomfort now than him contracting pertussis down the track.

just try to make sure he is looking at the nurse/doctor when it goes in, so he doesnt blame you for the pain!

i count it as good luck that as i work i have missed all of junior tippers immunisations so far. by all reports she takes it pretty well but all the same i am happy to miss that experience.
