Reserves Prelim: Sturt v Central @ AAMI (Sun 26/9 - 12.10pm)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Sep 20, 2010 4:00 pm

The Double Blues were easily defeated by the Magpies who go straight through to the GF with a week off while Central would have to be the form team of the ressies competition winning 11 out of their last 12 from memory.

This will be a good game of footy, good luck to Paul Jarvis and Jeff Brown and their respective reserves sides...

Centrals to inflict a "straight sets" exit on Sturt.

Stuff Paul Jarvis. Good luck Doggies. A brilliant comeback from the halfway mark of the season.

Central can beat Sturt in reserves. Wins in round 16 and 22.

Central by plenty.

Excuse me!!

I thought "Straight Sets" was a trademark term reserved for Glenelg?

I'm getting onto the ACCC and a couple of my lawyer friends about this.

If Sturt are to exit without winning a final, then they can just be referred to as sh!t, but leave the Straight Sets tag for us please - it's all we have.

Do I need to insert a smiley, or are you all sensible enough to know that this could not possibly be a serious post?

In my opinion, He deserves a crack* at it, at the expense of Schelly, I am afraid. Also, Westhoff for Sansbury?

Centrals by plenty... Sturt haven't been too convincing in the latter half of the year, plus Central have really turned their season around in an amazing way and I can't see them being stopped this week.

The GF may be more 50-50, but I think the Dogs will get home this weekend.

Chance then for a league and reserves double.

Aren't holding out too much hope for this one. Our finals campaign for 2010 has seemingly turned to shite across all grades.
Come on you Blues! Salvage something from this year!
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Would love to go and see this one but I've got a 3 month ban from AAMI because I swore at the Elimination Final. No wonder the SANFL is dying ;) with Weslo and the Police handing out these stupid bans for petty things. I tried to show them how many others from the crowd were swearing but I guess they recognised me as a former cheer squad member even though I was 100m away from the cheersquad
