Just wondering peoples opinion of wagners carry on when he kicks a goal doing some silly butterfly wave, fair enough if you have just kicked the winning goal of the game but when you are that far behind and haven't done much makes you look like a right dick. MP did we have a prize for closest to the margin in the a grade? Must have been close with 28pts ;)

It was a great day of junior football that was well organized and well administered.

I am shocked that Tasmans didn't try any niggle. It was a tame grand final. As for media parks call on Calvin having cunjones

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Now my brain is a little frazzled, but congrats to:

Tasman under 13 Premiers, and Jackson Tansell (Joe Dufek Medallist)

Boston under 15 Premiers, and William Roderick (Don Smith Medal)*

Mallee Park under 17 Premiers, and Kynan Betts (Kev Ayliffe Medal)

Lincoln South Reserves Premiers, and Jake Swalue (Jack Johncock Medal)

Mallee Park A Grade Premiers, and I assume Michael Burgoyne by what I read on here...

*William got the medal yesterday from one good quarter of football (the last), which is obviously when Don came out to pick his medal.

Pecker Power/Bantamweight... I don't know which of you said GJ was going to run water, but he did a good job of sinking Super Dry cans instead... ;)

Great day at the footy, awesome comeback by Tassie under 17's (pity I was sitting in the pub), and clearly the most anticipated ten minutes of the day after the draw.

How does Seaton Ave look this morning?

Was a bruising day of football...

Boston under 15 copped an elbow to the head that put his front teeth thru his lip... Looked good on the photos after the game... There's everyone with their hands raised, smiling and laughing, and Jonesy's holding a rag up to his mouth... :D

One of the Tasman under 17 lads got a leg injury during the extra time... It was, IMO, a moment when they tried to put winning ahead of player safety, because the lad looked to be in a real bad way, probably needing a stretcher, but with no time on, and such a short amount of time left, they just carried him off...

Steakn looked like he copped a beauty as well... ;)

he had cramp.never heard of a stretcher for cramp.I hope all the mallee park boys back on work permits bosses do the right thing and give them the day off to enjoy the mad monday.I thought Harry Millers speech was fairly average.Wouldve been nice to congratulate the opposition on a good effort.I dont if he was trying to have a stir when he mentioned it was good with them all being local boys, considering about 5 came back after june 30.Just left the silly sunday Pat Browne best on ground.

U13 fantastic effort, Daicos the under 17s was a great game I have to admit I enjoy watching this level
of footy every week, great amount of testosterone and some great skills on display. young
Nissy and Orbons played their hearts out.
Well done to Souths on the Bgrade very quick and slick, Jake Swalue showed plenty of grunt
and skill. should be playing in the A,s probably just needs a little bit more application.
Agrade full of what ifs gave their runners to much latitude, they smashed Carl in the middle,
maybe we should have gone tall from the 5 minute mark of the last quarter. Mason into ruck
Cunningham atCHF and George to CHB. we didnt get much from the half forward line early
If Yoey wants to do the "wiggles" I dont care but so long as he keeps kicking those long goals.
MPFC to good on the day, note to Harry Miller Jr and all your "local boys" next year that BS
residential clause will be changed.

Kocksy was well up there for BOG on sunday, contenders would have to have been, Kyle Sims, Googs Houhagen and Damon Traeger with honourable mentions to Phil Hedger, Damo Little and Reece and Damon Williams.

Very good to beat the Peckers in a game that mattered, great to be able to withstand the physical(mostly late or dirty) pressure and finally win a senior flag.

Two retirements were announced over the weekend, Congratulations to Sam Kidney on a great career, not being biased(being his brother) but he would have had to have been one of the most respected players in PLFL not just for the obvious reasons of being a A grade premiership player, B&F winner, and League Captain, but for the way he played the game and respected his opponent from go to woe. A pleasure to play with and will be sorely missed by all i believe. Other one was myself, thanks to all for the memories.

I went to Sarins for dinner on Saturday night and was shocked to see 11 Tasman players at the Lincoln Sharks bar. It was about 6-7pm. Is this their new home? Shouldnt they have been at their own club? How long before the TFC give ravendale the flick and move the the Lincoln KWF?
