Hope it's nothing too serious.

Hopefully he is ok. Looked like concussion.

Interesting watching the trainers put three stretchers together to get him off. He is a big man.

Cheers aerie

Never like to hear of a player getting stretchered no matter which team but especially in a neckbrace. Hopefully was just overcautious then.

JAS

And funny how he didn't get a free for it? Definitely accidental, nothing reportable or malicious, but those get paid as frees. And then the collision that forced Lewis off, he was penalised for high contact!

Bay's fans thoughts on Carr's game? ( other than him being an insipid sniper). He left you playing with on 20 men today.

I thought he was ok one of the few that can hold his head up and say i had a dip pity a few of his mates did not follow his lead

Good luck to you and yours from here on in.

Pesudo

I rate highly your contributions to this site, and can't really be to hard on the bays.

I can be hard however on a 119 point contributor to dream finals who turns up in a glenelg beanie & scarfe speaking with a lisp. chad did not respond at half time with a dream final and 119 point jibe.

Also a gutter level sniper who gave away a free before the first bounce and many more contests without earning possession of a hard ball make me wonder. It is hard when the coaches wife is sitting in the seat immediately in front of you (when he has previously has coached your club, and she denies that sniper carr is following coaches instructions)

I dont know who won in cairns with rain delays but Fitzy is looking for players & teams that dont lose 6-0, 6-2, 7-5 in successive years. (that is straight sets for non tennis fans)

Will be a challenge next week with our injuries given we played the last quarter with 17 on the bench.

GO YOU MIGHTY EAGLES

Sorry Eddie, I have read this a couple of times now and I am having trouble making head or tail of it without asking a couple of questions:
What's an 119 point contributor?
Was Pseudo speaking with a lisp?
Were you talking with Mark Mickan's wife during the game?
Do you think the Glenelg football side has some potentially good tennis players?
How did the Eagles kick such a high score in the last quarter given that their entire side was sitting on the bench? ;)
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Reported? You sure?

Early in the 3rd 1/4 Carr and another Eagles player are wrestling, Cicca comes from 50m away and at full pace smashes into Carr's back

ok, i have stuck up for the game plan etc through the season mainly because i think that as supporters we should be supporting of the team, coach(es) & the club in general, however now is the time to say what i really think & it isn't anything to do with being upset with todays result as we all knew at 3/4 time the game was over with wwt's coming home with that 4-5 goal breeze, the game plan is very good for afl standard players or when the opposition is not top notch in the sanfl, all our losses this year have been to teams that made the finals so to me the game plan doesn't work against quality opposition & it is obvious it breaks down when pressure is applied, when we are under pressure the move is always panozzo up forward EVERY TEAM KNOW THIS, yes today it was rudolph up forward & why rudolph ? because hentschell had already kicked 3 goals on him, so he had to go somewhere, the plan is also far too regimented with players going on & off at exact times, ffs if a player is dominating leave him on (like james sellar was in last years preliminary final & he got taken off   ) & when going forward why not go long, direct & give the forwards a chance by taking a punt & doing that, ffs central at times just bomb it forward which puts pressure on the defence & it continually gets defences coughing up the ball, but to me it seems that the coach (buck stops with him) doesn't have the faith in the players to beat their immediate opponents consistently

mark mickan has taken this club & team from an abysmal outfit into a team rated highly (which i thank him for) yet not rated (& now justified) to be a serious threat when it matters most, so with that presuming there is someone as qualified or even has better credentials than mark the time for him is to go.....i'd throw the bigger bucks at a man like dennis pagan who will out coach most people & will have more than one game plan

will the president & the board make the 'tough decisions' we've been hearing they'll make over the last couple of years ??

i believe cameron cloke maybe playing for us next year to replace trevor cranston....well done trevor on a marvellous career

well done to mickey G & his team, who were superb for most of the game

he did get reported (seem to anyway) in the first minute or so of the match for what appeared to be a very minor if any contact, perhaps the umpire was just trying to show he had control early on, what cica did to carr in the other incident was ordinary but at least he didn't king hit him & yes murphy retaliated by doing the same thing to cica & while 2 wrongs don't make it right i fully understand murphy flying the flag, i'm sure every player in every team would fly the flag

as for purch he is an 11yo & obviously has more intelligence than you & just for you he wasn't at the game he was at his footy clubs presentations where i'm proud to say he got the best team man award & a young tom welsby (son of) got the b&f

Very sympathetic to Bays supporters today. I think if I were a supporter, I'd be thinking the whole season was a waste of time right about now. It's tough being one of the best from May to August, only to give it up during September.

The players will no doubt feel the same, they (you would hope) want it even more than the fans and must be gutted that once again a whole season of good work has come to naught.

Mickan, I think, should step aside, as he's had 3 goes at it and it's got progressively worse. I'd probably be happy to swap Mickan for Norman if you want to try something different?

Not having seen the game today, but having seen the Bays lose their previous 4 Finals.
I've never been a fan of Grimma - to me he looks like a lair, that shot for goal last week astounded me (when they REALLY needed it), he decides to kick around his body from a set shot FFS ??!!???
How did he go today?

Do the Bays have too many 'fair weather' types?

Can anyone (reasonably close) to the club, tell me if having Stephen Rowe as part of the coaching set up, is a positive or negative - in light of his statements on radio during the week?
He paid the Eagles ZERO respect, talking only about his lot & how they'd respond. Clearly they didn't.

LEH - it's worth noting that Grima employed the exact same technique to score a goal today.

Oh far from it Birdie , it was almost comical watching his little kidney punches let fly, followed by getting towelled by his opponent.

Your blokes on the other hand over the last fortnight look like they are well used to wearing skirts.

Todd was pretty good today, Roar however....

I like Rowey and its not his fault cause my club accepts it, however to have our midfield coach not attending training and missing some games isnt ideal and Id prefer we had someone more committed.
