Yeh fine your sick of it, well where not and if you are sick of it maybe the other teams should learn how to stand up because to date the Bays, eagles, double blues and now the redlegs cant seem to get the job done when it really matters.
Maybe the competition will get better if the Maggies eventually get there act together or if they start playing finals at Unley or the Parade!!!

It is not our job to come down to your level its yours to improve yourself to our standard.

Where's this?

Spot on mal, i did not here too many complaints of a one sided competition when Sturt, Port Adelaide and Norwood were winning flag after flag it was quite alright then my friends, so suck up and live with it, all it means is that all other clubs have to raise the bar just like Central has done for the last fifteen years, yes thats right it all started back in 1994 and we have consistently been playing finals every year except in 1999, so what it boils down to your club must work out a plan and get stuck in to it quite simple, if Central can do it so can every other club in the SANFL so enough sour grapes from footy supporters and to Mr Newell who made a silly comment on Adelaide Now that Central were finished where are you ?????

Like i have said every year win lose or draw i will be there i am just happy to make a GF this will be my 13th which might be unlucky for us but I WILL BE THERE !!

As i said in one of my post about 3 weeks ago Caveat Canum !!!!

Unless it's somewhere near AAMI, I don't think other teams have to go there to learn how to stand up...

I'd be surprised if some fans didn't complain about Sturt, Port and Norwood.

Plus I don't think anyone has come on this thread and said anything different to you about what their teams should do, I repeat, it's not Central... it's Glenelg, Sturt, Norwood, Torrens, South, West, Port and North who are letting the league down.

One for the umps, take a close look at the deliberate out of bounds rule, saw at least 4 examples of the Dogs players taking it out deliberately without penalty.

I'm not sure if it was him or not but the 25m penalty against Havelberg in the last quarter was nothing short of a disgrace. The Norwood player takes the mark and runs 5 metres off the mark. The umpire (Day?) clearly waves both arms in the air signalling play on and Havelberg proceeds to lay the tackle which should have been a clear holding the ball and resulted in a shot on goal. The said umpire suddenly rewrites history and pays a 25m penalty against Havelberg for coming across the mark. If this passage of play isn't under some sort of investigation from the SANFL and the responsible umpire stood down from the remainder of the finals, then there is something seriously wrong.

Aside from that, a sensational first quarter from the dogs. The way the boys just lift their intensity in finals is awesome. The two ruckmen were superb. And before anyone pipes up, i'm not having a go at the umpires for their overall performance, but am just highlighting that one decision which was one of two things. Incompetence or Cheating?

No that wasn't Dey - it was one of the other two.

That decision has to be investigated though - as you said yourself, it's either incompetence or downright cheating. What was Havelberg to do - the ump had called play on and so the Norwood player was fair game.

That wasn't Dey, but you're right it was a disgrace. The less said about Dey the better. How he can be Shane Harris' assistant is beyond me. God help the future of umpiring in the SANFL.

Who are you calling Bitches? Last I looked we have the wood over your lot and it's 1-1 in grand finals overall.
Boots are looking a bit small on your feet methinks.

Hmmm .. Well we were given an absolute hiding in the 1st quarter by the masters today, clean hands, intensity and planning went to a whole new level, tbh despite the fact we missed a few goals we shouldn't have we were massively outplayed and it could have been far worse.

Fair effort thereafter, but too little too late unfortunately.

If any club needs to see an example of 3 things: Intensity, Composure and Efficiency, that 1st quarter is as good as Ive seen in a long time.

Proud of our effort, but well done Dogs, you are a super team.

Wont spend too much more time on this game, because I saw a bit of the Eagles today and they looked exceptionally damaging, 50/50 game next.

Excellent to meet WHUFC and Mr Irate today, saw JMO for a minute too .. All good lads ... For Doggies fans ;)

This time it was our turn to lose to the dogs in a 2nd sem

Thought we missed hughes' pace today. Yeah we didn't lie down but that 1st qtr was pitiful and all the dogs had to do was keep us at arm's length.
