GLENELG defender Sebastian Tape will captain SA in the under-18 national championships starting Saturday. The Westminster College student was named skipper at training last night.

Tape stands 189cm and weighs 78kg and can transform from key defender to dangerous forward.

"I like his competitive nature,'' SA coach Brenton Phillips said.

"He's a wonderful young man and he's capable of playing league footy.''

Should be a great day of football at footy park. Hopefully the Eags can take advantage of the bigger ground. I can't split the two to be honest. Should be a cracker.
