Redbacks - unchanged for Melbourne

Postby Max » Wed Jan 24, 2007 12:32 pm

The Redbacks have announced an unchanged side for both the Pura Cup and Ford Ranger Cup games to be played in Vic. Interesting!

Channel 10 reported that Blewett was back training with the senior squad this week. I wonder which of the 'clowns' invited him back...

I see where Rod Marsh has talked Ian Chappell into talking to the Redbacks batsmen. Whether they make more runs or not, only time will tell. One thing I do know, after talking with Chappell some of them will alter the way they think about the game.

Cossie had better be prepared. Chappell has the propensity to look another person in the eye and call a spade a f@#%ing shovel.

Unchanged side   Makes perfect sense. Blewett was right with the clowns bit. The selectors have a sense of humour that's for sure.

Go the Mighty "Jelly"backs :? . If only the batsmen could support the likes of Tait & Gillespie, two blokes working their guts out with little prospect of help or reward.

well blewett got fined $1,000 today & we heard these blokes talking behind us that blewett has gone sour & is a disruption to the team while another said cosgrove was an embarrasment to the team & the saca, nothing much wrong with that as people are entitled to their opinions except these were the sa selectors    surely they shouldn't have said that in earshot of the public
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

How is it taking it too far? Cosgrove is obese and lets forget about his cricket for a second but for his long term health he needs to lose weight. Kerry is right. Cosi is a fat slob. If he is halfway serious about not looking like a big fat bloke he'd do something about it but clearly to this stage he is comfortable being grossly overweight and wasting the god given talent many of us would do anything for.

Its hard agree
BUT
AG if me and you had a chance to score a million dollar cricketing career I
think that would be a massive incentive.
As BAYMAN said there is at least 1 selector who is not impressed.

in regards to blewett, i was stunned when he was given antoher top tier contract and then he has the gaul (is that how you spell it?) to call the selectors clowns! he is right maybe they are clowns for sticking with him way too long, and yes i know he has been a great player for us i know that but he has been finished for 2 years now. i had a great belly laugh when i heard he was interested in offers from other states - doing what?????? sucking tinnies and then going for a drive
