Wing Commander is still my all time favourite.

Honourable mentions to Silent Service II and SimCity. NBA Jam was fun too.

Remember using the cheat SHIFT 'funds' at the start to get max money and an earthquake would roll in!!

I'm not much into gaming, but still occasionally use "Civilisation II - the Millennium Edition".

The Civ series is awesome.
Hanging out for the release of number 5 later in the year.
Looks 10x better than its predecessors.

On strategy games - you can't go past the Total War series. Rome Total War and Medieval 2 Total War the best. Haven't played the latest yet.

Dog_ger it's an MMORPG

For me as far as MMORPG's go it'd be Atlantica Online.

For video games it's the Myst series by a country mile.

Strike Altantica...turned into a grind/craftingfest...soooo boring...and they make it so you have to pvp to progress and I prefer pve and soloing.

Now playing Dungeon and Dragons Online (DDO)...fantastic so far.
None of the usual 'kill 30 of this' then '40 of that'. Looks like it can nearly all be solo'd or partyed and the dungeons/instances have up to 4 lvl's of difficulty and they have traps to avoid/puzzles to solve too...bit like in Zelda type games...but it's not so childish/cartoony

Still now the only game I would play (apart from Facebook Wheel of Fortune) on the computer, if I could find a workable one to download (all the others either require payment or some "zipping" which I am not technical enough to do).

I used to live on Alex the Kidd and Wonderboy. Both great games.
