Certainly was an amazing day for the boys. To finish third play 4 tough finals and beat the undefeated side in the gf showed the character of the group. The boys tackled fiercely and aggressively and didnt let PAC get any sort of game going at all. Amazing scenes when the final siren went and something that the group will remember forever. Well done lads.[/quot

Heard that some off the seniors boys not quite up to pace on Mad Monday had to go home early leaving it to the younger group to carry on with the festivities

Heard Marshy was leaving half empty drinks in the toilet by the end of the day.

On another note Ricky Pearce to be appointed Portland coach either today or tomorrow.

Not sure who has applied club is going through the process at the moment so fair to say the decision will be made in due course. Wouldnt think he would be thinking bout coaching at the moment but im sure will talk to the club at some stage can honestly say he will be coaching at seaton in some capacity in 2011.

If he was the playing coach, he would need a good assistant. He may look to the Cougar to help out, unless he has already taken the lucrative offer to join SMOSH.

I would think Marshy would have front running after taking the 2's to a premiership he also has a fair bit of respect from the senior & younger guys from the current playing list

I find this quite humourous considering how much shit some of the Portland lads loved to talk about Pearce. Good luck to him at Portland next year, i thought he was unlucky to get the sack from districts when he did.

Know if anyone from PDFC is keen Piccachu?

The Cougar will go where a club & players are going to respect his homework on opposition.
I'd be surprised to see him stay at Seaton as their are some ( players ) that don't mind slagging him consistantly & he knows who they are. ( disrespectful )
The Cougar would go out of his way for people but when he needs a favour or anything in return he's burnt.
I've had a good relationship with the Couger & he is a hard worker, his board work on a saturday is first class with his ability to pick up the rotations, whether it be 2-3 or 4 way rotations very quickly. He's known to put his foot in it on occasions!! ;)
He's a good man & deserves more respect than he gets.
He'd have no problems getting an assistant role at any club.

There is some talk of Hodges coaching in the SFL, maybe the Cougar will head down there with him.
The Cougar was my first cricket coach, he didnt let me bowl for the first 3 games, so i am not sure he is any good at identifying talent..... :D
