Just quietly I will tip my hat for the has been. Speaking to an official at that RMFL club concerned and deep into final detail they say. Believe some players to go as well. Disenchantment with what gets paid to only a couple and believe from a contact within that payment to those 2 players is increasing again next year. I know our club is also talking to a couple of their players with a similar midset next week after the GF.

Supercoach - nice work, some juicy news. That'd leave the Roos a fairly different side next year.
hands off! it's not like you guys need any of them either!
I was told by a Dev that Fisher spoke to Lofty but was asking WAY too much, this couldn't be confirmed when i chatted to a club official.

My mail is $1200 min each next year for both. 30% up on this year. No wonder some are discontented. One other told me he gets $400 and 2 may get $300 ex sturt. Imps really pleased by the way with way skip presented. More to come too.

Thats huge news, surely something Barker could do without in the week leading up to the Grand Final. $1200.00 a game x 2 is massive if true, no wonder some of the locals aren't too impressed.

I think you'll find F & B to stay at Mt Barker for a ridiculous amount of money. The Imps thing I'm not too familiar with.

Hope they handle the pressure well. Being undefeated comes with it. Go you roos, winners by two goals. Cant comment on other grades sorry. Furthermore, was the team of the year announced yet?

Yup, but barker to lose at least a player to play/coach at Imperials.
Coleman re-signed at Lofty? I wonder if they consulted players abut that...

My point exactly. Which would not be cool with the young guys needing some experience around them to be a title threat again.
Depending who left, perhaps a Raggies FF and a past CHF might make their way back. Apparently a past captain will be back on our shores for next season as well.
Should have saved some of this for summer chats, when nothing happens!

I bet the decision makers at Mt Barker would be over the moon with the ma$$ive investment they made in Fisher and Block- Both have been pivotal to them becoming a powerhouse again, on the verge of a perfect season after missing finals last year and apparently are both pretty good blokes. Everything is peachy creamy.......Untill the local lads find out exactly how big the investment is.

It's not 'buying a flag' (IF that happens), but if it means losing players consequently, was it worth it...?
If they were genuine about being a part of that club, they wouldn't ask for more $$ if they were already on a good wicket there.

Good statement. Asking for more $$$ is highway robbery. But I guess they've sold themselves to the highest bidder.

definately not buying a flag, smart investing i would say.. if other mt barker players are leaving because of the amount of money the bay boys are getting there kidding themselves if they think they and or any other player in tht team is worth that much money, those 2 boys are single handedly bringing the cup to mt bobby, and they are the only reason they are. and the other 19 boys in that team arent worth half as much money as these boys are "supposedly earning"

a premiership is the best thing youll ever have, and every single player in that team will be enjoying for days and weeks to come! they wouldnt be enjoying it without the 2 players so i say deal with it and enjoy the success for atleast 2-3 years to come! coz they aint winning flags without those 2

Coleman not popular? I thought he and his B grade coach are thought of as gods at Lofty - at least that is what Happy Valley have been lead to believe....
