Not sure I would go with Mason to lead the rucks, he has been pretty dissapointing from the wraps on him earlier in the season and I think he will be lucky to hold his spot in the side. George is the best option in ruck but Cunningham and Mason are not up to playing any other position so this leaves Goerge either going forward or back.

I think it comes down to this.... 6 players fighting for 3 spots on the bench. 2 x Franklins, Frost, Davies, Milton and Hackett.

Will they play young Davies? Is he up to the big occassion or do you go with a Franklin?

Is Calvin in your best 21 KWF? Debatable.

IMHO I would have Calvin in my 21 if you had asked me at the beginning of the year I would
have said possibly not.
In my selection I was looking at pace but if its heavy maybe some changes in the selection
process.,

Ahhh the penny drops (pardon the pun). Thats the lad that was shopping himself around earlier this year/ last year from my bad memory. Didnt Waybacks and South have a money bid battle over his signature?
Well done to the roosters for gaining his services no matter what the pay rate.
While I have seen him do a couple of good things in a forward pocket from the few times I have seen him you would hardly say he was a star that warranted all the hoo ha! Hope the roosters didnt pay too much especially if the make a grand final and aren't going to play him.
Good footballer in another league maybe but no standout here ....cue acockfromwayback

I agree KWF Calvin has had a good year to consolidate a permanent position. What worries me is the likely match up on Joel Tessman.

Should be a few coaching changes next year.

Anyone hear any possibilities?

Changes at tigerland could be....
A Grade coach, not sure who will get that job, definitely not Martin Leslie or MP probably Hully, if desperate possibly Beary. should look outside the club
B Grade coach....can't see it being Chook. up in air
U17 coach....wont be Rod Wilbe. possibly Beary
U15 Coach....if not Beary possibly his team manager from this year
U13 Coach....don't know about Schrapel had a few bites of the cherry probably wont be given another chance by club even though he took them to two prelims with limited stock and off field dramas
U11 Coach.... won't be thommo said he not going round next year
U9 Coach....won't be Bill Redding said he not going round next year

Rumour has it Beary has what ever grade he wants to do next year.

The big question is what grade will MP coach?

Not that a full rundown of BFC coaches is exactly newsworthy (who gives a toss in September), but I heard a rumour that Fluff Dennis has expressed an early interest in the Tiger B Grade...

Anyone confirm? Anyone heard otherwise?

I think Fluff would be a great asset as a coach but I reckon you,d need
a crow bar to shift him from the Gary.

The umpires have been appointed for the big game this Saturday. A few eyebrows are likely to be raised.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

You care to tip the Roosters to win three from three on Satdy Ken?
