Anyone on here from barker, MuddyRoo!? How's the mood around the club? More pressure due to the unbeaten run?

JQ, all fine at roo park. Disapointed that the B grade didnt get through last wk, but focused on saturdays big one. Uri's have been a super tough side for most of this decade, so fully aware we have to be at our best to win.

On another topic, have heard no talk of Noons or C. Rogers (co captains) linking them to the RMFL.

Did all their sturt boys qualify? eg Male? Feel sorry for the Handorf boys that will get dropped for them, I'd hate to be Shane Mohor thurs night.... Still cant go past Blacky tho, they will win by 4 goals. Then Philpy to announce he will be back at IB next year ;)

In the B's, I hate to say it but I cant see Uraidla stopping all of Loftys forwards, they just have too many options. I see that Staples went up to A grade for Uraidla last week, so uraidla only have one real forward target in Hunter. If they can shut him down and dont allow him much space in the fwd 50, Lofty will win :( Dawes to win BOG

Not really sure about the A grade but on paper Barker is a better side, but Uraidla is a better TEAM. Uraidla to upset by 4 points

Not unfounded at all. I have had direct contact with some of these kids as I am from a club who is a victim of Blackwoods poaching. Before the season started the 17s coach and his staff were constantly harrassing these kids to make the move to Blackwood. I don't intend to take the shine away from these kids I'm merely stating the coach hasn't really had to coach or develop any of his players. I find that to be a little closer to the gutless side of things myself.

This is not true, because i know your from ironbank, and all three players who have moved are close mates of mine. They were not poached, simply moved for friendships, why can't you understand that, the new coach wasn't even appointed by the time these boys were committed

A Grade
Mt Barker vs Uraidla - Mt Bobby by 8 goals, Nunan BOG

B Grade
Mt Lofty vs Uraidla - as much as i HATE to say it, Lofty by 4 points in a thriller, BOG M.Coates (one of the better blokes running around)

Senior Colts
Blackwood vs Hahndorf - heart says maggies head says woodies, coach Shane Mohor would wanna get the boys up for this one, mind you the young fellas arent to much worried about the score i dont think there all worried about the parties there gna b at afterwards so ill say blackwood by 10 goals... BOG who cares

Junior Colts
Hahndorf vs Onkas - Hahndorf by 11 points. BOG Dean Gore.

U13s
Mt Barker vs Hahndorf - Hahndorf by 21 points BOG J.Hannam

I'm going to have to disagree with the Senior Colt result, i also think Blackwood will win but only just. Hahndorf have felt the hurt, and with 4 sturt boys back they'll come out guns blazing. Saying they are thinking about the parties after is ridiculous, they all want it as much as each other.

Blackwood by 4 points
BOG Minuzzo

I assume the 4 boys who have played all year and miss out of the G/F don't mind - it's all about winning after all

I guess you made a point, but these 4 players are still clubmen, they have played in every sturt bye or game they have been available, theyre still part of the team...

Im not from Ironbank but a club in Central. You have more than one player from other clubs also. Well done though you'll more than likely win the flag. How well it was earnt is questionable.

Male has had a shoulder reco, and wouldn't of been qualified anyway, but the other 4 are qualified, one of them played on the weekend, cause he wanted to play hahndorf finals more than sturt, they are all definitely still committed.

You may be right about the Philp call, i guess that one will play out itself.

Cheers, Muddy Roo. good to get feedback from a club that has had a pretty nuts season.
Silky - good to see you swallow your pride and pick the Devs. Didn't realise you hated us that much but your post sounded really forced! If Coatsey is one of the better ones getting around, you move in the wrong circles ;)
Banker - which dawes to get BOG? I think they're both playing.
On that - my BOG in the magoos FWIW will be Jason 'Derulo" Matulik off a wing. If it's not too boggy he'll do real well.

So very sorry for being absent for a while. Have been on holiday in remote WA. Wonderful spot! Anyway, back to the footy, glad to see the barker boys rest up and will come out firing. Hope they handle the pressure well. Being undefeated comes with it. Go you roos, winners by two goals. Cant comment on other grades sorry. Furthermore, was the team of the year announced yet?

cam staples was in the side for the injured kane mclean. hunter won the goal kicking after missing 8 games and kicked 7 in last yrs gf, hes a very hard man to shut down. but hasnt fired to much in these finals and they have got through. Uraidla and mt lofty the only 2 teams to win a b grade final this yr with barker and ironbank out in straight sets. anyone tell us how the oval is holding up?

A Grade - Uraidla by 4 goals. They were awesome last week, and if they can produce the same running and link up game this week, then we will be in for a cracker. BOG S Ebert

B Grade - Mt Lofty by 5 goals. Just think Mt Lofty have too many forward targets for the Dees to keep under control, and a solid defence that I reckon Hunter will find tough to break. BOG N Cullen

17's - Blackwood by 2 goals. They've been the form team all year and I reckon they will win this one

15's - Hahndorf

13's - Barker

Fair point, Bruiser with the long sleeves. if all that falls into place I wanna see him REAL drunk.
I hope the sun comes out on Sat and we can enjoy a frothy at the Arms afterwards, should be a good day.
BOG for A Grade - Ebert and if one of the Uri forwards (BROWN??) kicks 4, they'll win.
Has the Mail medal happened or did I miss something?
