Outside of the 2 teams involved I do not think anyone actually cares.

Lofty should win the game of the has beens before the rain comes.

The 17's should be a good game now that Hahndorf have their 4 Sturt kids back this week. Hopefully they can get over the line and that will mean victory in the 2 games that really counted during the year. Will also hopefully teach our friends from Blackwood that they can't buy a premiership in that age group.

Should be a great conclusion to an interesting year and bring on TV next year.

Interesting that you lay into Uraidla as you have them as a team you support!! WTF
Has beens? There are at least 5 players on each team under 35. :D
We want Vaughn.

I wonder what excuses JQ will offer up as to the reason why they lost!

ha ha, I'm gonna take that bait, SS. Although you probably won't read this for a few days :drinkers: You got any excuses?
Not once have I made up an excuse for the Devs this year, from day one I thought that it'd be tough against the likes of uris and Blackwood. If you'd been on here more than twice all season you'd see that I've never put up excuses. On Saturday uris were bloody smooth, succinct and their number 4 had a dead set day out. They'll beat Mt barker.

It thought you were smarter than to spoil your hidden club support Supercoach? Don't think you have said anything bad about Hahndorf or possibly Onkas so switch to them to hide your true loyalty!!

Uraildla were awesome on the weekend. Tim Martin, Daniel Ebert and Simon Ebert completely dominated, the rest of their players just dominated! Best HFL display I have seen since we beat Blackwood in the qualification final in '07 but 15odd goals. If they play to that standard again they will win by 5 goals on the w/e. On the positive for the devs, forget who was named in the best in the paper, among the best players were young guns Ingram, O'Brien and Radbone. Most of the senior players had poor days. This bodes well for Mt Lofty's future. Best of luck to all the lucky bastards playing in GF's this week, especially the juggernaut that is the Mt Lofty Super Bs!

Agreed, DM. There was some genuine domination but the young guys did well and you can't beat the experience. Hold on to them, get a gun CHF and FF plus R Gowans and next year it could be a step further.
Anyone on here from barker, MuddyRoo!? How's the mood around the club? More pressure due to the unbeaten run?

Just quietly heard on the grape vine that a certain captain of a could be premiership side this saturday is off to captain coach in the mighty RMFL next season at the club whose groundis on the RHS of Adelaide Rd as you ride into town. Believe they got booted out on the weekend by Mannum. Signed sealed and delivered I believe. Bit more than the petrol money he gets now.

I think you should get your facts right mate, No one is getting paid at blackwood in Under 17's.

Players moved at the start of the season for friendship reasons and also location reasons.

That's a huge statement by yourself when you have absolutely no idea

I don't completely agree with whats been written here but can say Blackwood's U/17s were in a word 'poached'. Everyone knows its not buying a premiership its more the ethics of a football club at junior level were severely breached. The credibility of the coach would be the discussion point more so. He certainly hasn't had to do too much development, sad way to win a flag if thats what they do on saturday.

What information do you have on the situation, i suspect none, because it didn't happen

You probably don't even know any of the kids that moved

Players are not being paid at that level, Blackwood 17's are a good side a players have come to play for them... deal with it

My previous question was about Barker, so has been - do you mean Nunan? just tip your cap for a yes...

Senior Colts
Blackwood vs Hahndorf - heart says maggies head says woodies, coach Shane Mohor would wanna get the boys up for this one, mind you the young fellas arent to much worried about the score i dont think there all worried about the parties there gna b at afterwards so ill say blackwood by 10 goals... BOG who cares

Junior Colts
Hahndorf vs Onkas - Hahndorf by 11 points. BOG Dean Gore.

I'm going to have to disagree with the Senior Colt result, i also think Blackwood will win but only just. Hahndorf have felt the hurt, and with 4 sturt boys back they'll come out guns blazing. Saying they are thinking about the parties after is ridiculous, they all want it as much as each other.

Kick2Kick I never said they were paid, I said poached. Read more carefully before shooting from the hip. Oh and I do happen to know some of the players. Your club obviously isn't into developing players, you just let the other clubs do that then poach their good work.

I assume the 4 boys who have played all year and miss out of the G/F don't mind - it's all about winning after all

After the Siren and Supercoach- What actual proof do you have of any 'poaching' by the Blackwood senior colts? The Junior Grade Granny that I was lucky enough to have played in was at the time the greatest day of my life. If you are trying to take the shine off these kids big day with unfounded rumours then that is pretty gutless and immature I reckon.

Not unfounded at all. I have had direct contact with some of these kids as I am from a club who is a victim of Blackwoods poaching. Before the season started the 17s coach and his staff were constantly harrassing these kids to make the move to Blackwood. I don't intend to take the shine away from these kids I'm merely stating the coach hasn't really had to coach or develop any of his players. I find that to be a little closer to the gutless side of things myself.
