Barber and Pumpa went back to Adelaide before this all happened. I think there were four or five who missed the cut.

I think I have evidence to the contrary on Barber....

So, are we ready to talk about next season yet?
Or should we let the Demons revel a bit longer?

So Barber and Pumper took off, real team orientated guys then?
If you had just won a flag wouldnt you have a crack with your team mates?
Next year surely Loxton to go top. Peter smith to win the medal and leading goal kicker!!
Is it true Berri are losing 4 or 5 key players?
Are the Barmera imports staying or going? I see Port Districts have been relegated to Division 2.

Loxton will be a chance to go top.
Former Eagle Tim Inkster to the Tiges is what I'm hearing...
Liam Williams back?

Five or six, maybe more finished at Berri.

Barmera to lose a few, the Port guys amongst them.

Who are the five or six or maybe more finished at Berri??? I heard they have a couple of blokes almost signed up already for next year. Very handy CHF and onballer.

Both hung around until Sunday night but had to head to Adelaide yesterday.
So yeah, they hung around, but most had their heads done last night.

Berri:

Pearson (moving)
Fromm (moving)
Allen (maybe???)
Warland (maybe???)
Sutherland (Central)
Stone (West Adelaide)
Barber (Maybe Central??)

And although he didn't play, Franks (back to Adelaide).

Then you chuck Pelter into the mix too, will he back up for another season in the A grade?
He's a bloody good bloke and deserved that flag.

I'd expect Berri to recruit well in the off season and Rod's word will remain law with the players, so they will be a disciplined unit again. Which will give them a chance to stay near the top.

First I heard of that. The only certainty of not playing for Berri at this stage is Dave Hankin I would have thought. Les no chance of playing here next year??

I don't think so. I've heard he's going to be playing for Smithfield, just around the corner from where he's going to be living.

Waikerie would have done fairly well out of hosting the GF,but unlike Renmark who had the council fund a large proportion of their changerooms(as they should). The tight ass Loxton/Waikerie council only gave some inkind labour to Waikerie`s new changerooms. So I would say a fair proportion of the profits will go towards upgrades of facilities, which is why the finals must continue to be rotated to all the towns.

Tony DeVito and Gary Pfeiler paid for those clubrooms. I think the Liebich's threw in a heap of coin too. The club owes nothing on those changerooms. ;)

Is it true that Waikerie have to replace a portion of fence that was badly bent on Sat near the scoreboard pocket.Last one seen trying to navigate over it was Berri`s number 1 ticket holder.(Bum Crack)

That fence got difficult to negotiate by the end of the day.
Saw a bloke tear the arse out of his shorts on it.
