Thats a common comment i have heard before from a few people about Harry Ball "Stubberfield", but i alway say and believe it that Piccachu if you knew Stubby you would have a different opinion

yea not doubting that at all probably a gem of a bloke, obviously its hard to judge on someone you dont know personally but that was just the impression i got after watching 1 game of him, can obviously play a bit sounds like the boys at west croyden like him so no harm done.

piccachu wrote:i went out and had a look at the Div 6 grand final as i knew a few blokes in each team, and to be honest the standard was better than i expected, W/C were by far the better side on the day and deserved the win, no 11 for west croydon pretty small on baller was BOG for mine cutting up Locks with his leg speed, number 1 i think his name was francis was nothing short of sensation on carl, wore him like a golve all day and i think his intensity at the contest was to much for carl to handle, peddo and birchy can obviously play a higher level of footy if they put there heads to it Peddos foot skills and poise was second to none in this grade,
noticed the big full forward for W/C giving a few of his team mates big mouth fulls even when the game was won in the last quarter, im a big fan of celebrating a good goal but a few times i think he might have taken them a touch to far and thought it was all about himself rather than than his 21 mates doing it together, thats just an outsiders point of view he might just be one of those blokes and people love him for it but looked a touch selfish to me.
well done to the croyden lads

Agreed, Number 11 was best by a mile
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Agreed Piccachu. Of what I saw, Peddo looked to have so much time when he had the footy and his foot skills were very good. Birchys Pace and goal-sense are very good aswell. These two are vital asests for WC going into next year.

Div 6 Finals Footy Tips

Final scores didn't change much with most people tipping the GF to be reasonably close, and a few going for the roughie.

Which makes Brod the winner of an SAFooty.net stubby holder! Well done :ymapplause:

6 - demonseye, valleys07
5 - bomberrob, Ian
4 - The Riddler, watchdog, zedman

interesting to read the best players by everyone and no one mention number 34 the fullback for the hawks
every time i have seen him he has done extremely well
also lothler played another great captains game, unhearalded but does the hard in and under work that actually creates the easy ball for the outside runners
cooper was best until injury and is definately a class above the rest in thinking terms and disposal ability
and just a side note, the hawks were able all year to stay a step ahead of the rest and one of the reasons is the opposition teams and leaders dont pickup on the little things,eg the hawks have at least 8 to 12 left footers yet opposition players still run to tackle and block on the wrong side
a little thing i know but the little things win games
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Thanks mate.

It ain't easy picking that side, but we ensured that all clubs were represented. The unluckiest players to miss out would probably be a couple of prominent forwards, but it's pretty hard to squeeze three FFs into the one side.
