Para was awesome, broke lines, carried the footy, no GG bloke went anywhere near him. Rankine had a good first quarter (without kicking straight), Adams had shitloads of it, even Wattsy himself got a lot of it for an old guy who stayed forward most of the day. They completely dominated the game.

Massive crowd too, top day of footy. Hoping that'll be us this time next year.

I'm not fussed what terminator had to say cos in the end I've slagged him on here, my team got smashed and he found the opportune time to fire back. So be it...

Just should say too, well done to Salisbury Footy Club for a great day yesterday despite the result for us. Oval was in top nick and the rest of the set up was great too. Good to still have a few ovals where you can park around the outside... Well done Pag and the team there =D>
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

If your going to question mods decisions Turk, PM us, don't question it on the boards. :?

FYI - the rules state:

material which is defamatory/libellous. This includes material which is libellous against SA Footy moderators and the Site Admin, other SA Footy members, or any third party. As a general rule, saying that someone is a poor footy player or criticising some aspect of their game is not considered libellous, but it'd be nice if you could back up your opinion with fact.

- troll posts (posts intended to be offensive or ignorant, setting off a large and pointless argument)

- racist posts

- flame posts (posts consisting entirely of abuse towards another member).

Terminator posted what he did in order to get a bite, which he did, so it (and the replies) were removed.

There is a difference between giving an opinion, trolling (posting remarks in order to start an argument or slanging match) and just plain having a crack (No-Mercy and Top End) and the latter two are NOT welcome on this site and do nothing for this sites reputation. If you're not happy about the fact that you can't use this site as a way of hanging shit on people and organisations, go and make your own bloody forum and screw that up and leave ours alone.

Perhaps a few of you should go and re-acquaint yourselves with the rules.

Hey FC based on the fact that you "posted" about my question rather than PM me can I assume I have the right to reply to the "Mods" on the forum??

No Turk, the reply with the rules included was meant for the benefit of all posters and was not aimed at you personally, the warning is for anyone who thinks that posting on this site is a right and not a privilage.

FC whilst I appreciate the roles the Mods play re administration of the forum, I feel posters have a right not to have the posts they make sanitized to the point where only one point of view is allowed (and that is the Mods POV).

And no this is not personal... and I have not taken anything posted by you personally

We don't have a POV, we just moderate to ensure that discussion doesn't descend into petty bickering and endless name-calling that is common with the unaccountability that comes with anonymity.

It's not necessarily my point of view Turk. A troll is a troll - and The Terminator is a proven troll and his post was a troll.

You lot are a bit rich considering the amount of crap we let go in this forum compared to others. Now Who's acusing who of arking up at decisions you don't like?

What can I say, it's lucky Centrebet weren't taking odds because everytime I put money I something I end up losing. Murphy's Law I guess. Well done to Para who is an unassuming bloke off the field. Well done to the Bulls as well.

Guess this is the right thread for it.
Congrats to the Fitzroy u14's side who rolled the unbeaten Eastern Park to take out the flag.
Coached by an old Tassie boy in Jarred Chipman & Long time Roy player Ben Stewart.
Team was in a bit of strife early with numbers, 7 boys playing a year up & even had to use 11yo's in the early rounds to make up the numbers.
Good recruiting drive & a lot of determination.(& a big thanks from this poster whose son was one of the 11yo's who was rewarded with a spot on the bench & a medal)
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

How was the Bulls on Saturday!! WOWEEE!

What a turn-up in the Two's and my boys in the A's just getting the job done!

Para was a machine, a huge blue and red heart and clearly BOG for mine. Wattsy was good and didn't seem to be covered and the workrate of the big pistol Pete Lovell was outstanding.

Congratulations to the boys from both A's and B's as well as those who have comitted so much time up voluntarily throughout the year to keep the boys rolling, it was an awesome Day.

Congrat's to the golden grove boys from both sides, both teams played hard and fierce till the siren went and allthough the results weren't favourable they have had a fantastic year and will be a real force in amateur league football in future years.

And well done to Salisbury FC for hosting, hope they sold plenty of snags and refreshments. It was a little disapointing when the game was moved from Alberton to Salisbury, but all that was forgotten by 7:00am saturday morn, when the SFC boys turned on the day, the ground in good nick, the atmosphere brilliant and made a special day for our football club, just that extra bit more memorable, Well done!
