Norwood had more tackles (75-46), inside 50s (48-36), spoils (18-11) and clearances (41-32).

Statistically Glenelg won almost everything, but Norwood's pressure when they didn't have the ball was superb.

But the obvious statistic of all you missed !!!

The Bays are everyones btches when it comes to in the Finals

And the lowest qualifying final score EVER [/quote]

But let's be fair to them - they did kick 5.9.39 not 5.8.38 as they got a point right on the siren

Norwood too good and wanted it more, they deserved the win.

Disappointing we saved our worst effort of the year for today.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The under rated Nwd backline keeps getting the job done.

Bays in big strife. They seem to forget where the goals are in the major round.

You cant win when you have two big names in Grima and Kirkby struggle to get near the ball at any stage of the day.

Well played to Norwood. They dominated the pace of the game and successfully shut Glenelg out of the contest.

Going on the way the Eagles played last week, I think Sturt has a better claim to the chokers tag that the Bays. Argue the point all you wish, but it remains that you and your tribe are the ones who will be watching next week's finals from your lounge rooms.

If the Bays put as much effort into playing "team" football as they do their "beards" .....they might just of had a chance today ;)

Yep, if McGuinness isn't in the Team of the Year, I'll be amazed. He's had a great year, ably supported by several others. The thing that struck me today is the lack of productivity from the Glenelg midfield, apart from Ty Allan, whereas two weeks ago at the Bay, their midfield ripped us to pieces.

I thought it was a tremendous effort today with no passengers, each player doing their bit. It should give us some confidence for the rest of the major round.

I was just sitting here contemplating the irony in football. Several weeks ago when we were beaten at the Parade by Sturt, their supporters let us know in no uncertain terms that we were wasting our time making the finals because we wouldn't do any good. :)

Bulldust. The ball spent hardly any time in Norwood's backline!

Piss off, the main bloke with the beard busted his gut out there today, pity none of his team mates joined him.

Well done to Norwood. Too good, too strong and too well coached.

Also Spermy, and German thanks ;)

And it's different walking out of Footy pk, without feral supporters from other clubs spitting and swearing at you. They're a nice mob out Norwood way.

And argue that I will...completely different story today pseudo. Welsh, Hentshel and Grocke in. Giles (the best SANFL ruckman in 2010 IMO) out early for the Blues...a flat track instead of the bogs we've played so well on in the past month. As I have said, Sturt's season went pear shaped months ago...Plus - the Eagles were just bloody good today. Hard at the man and the ball. Our blokes dropped their heads a bit after missing relatively easy shots on goal early in the game...let's hope that's not the fate of the Bays next week. Will Grima have his kicking boots on? I guess it won't matter if he hardly gets a kick  In contrast, the Bays were sitting top 2 weeks ago, with a huge winning streak and have now lost 2 on the trot.

How's the neck chaffing? ;) Black and yellow scarves tend to do that this time of year...

And yes I already have plenty to look forward to in the off season. Mark Webber for the 2010 F1 WC!
