the kind of end to the season i would expect as we spent more time out of the 5 than in it. this year and things looked bad from round 1 with a draw against south. Until a month or so ago hadn't won 2 weeks in a row so after 4 wins in a row it was expected. Would like to say sorry to the west supporters I'm sure your boys would have put up a better fight today and deserved to be there more than we did.

on the positive side we didn't get beaten by the dogs all year and i am not a Glenelg supporter facing 2 years being the best team all year and looking at a straight sets exit

Well a week is a long time ... a great effort today to turn it around from last week.

Awesome effort by Parry today after Miles went off injured early, whilst Grocke exhibited the class, presence and toughness that we were missing in the forward lines last week.

ABC showed a quick shot of the Sturt cheersquad during their telecast and it showed 2 or 3 coppers standing right next to them. Anything to report???

Yeah. 4 of them got kicked out for swearing . Wonder what happens to people who bring flares into the ground. Hang on a second, swearing is much worse.

I heard that one or two Bays fans got cautioned for swearing too.

I sincerely hope that any Weslo effwit who had the temerity to threaten a fan with eviction for swearing was told to EFF OFF by the subject of the threat. There were SEVERAL family-friendly areas earmarked at the ground today. As I see it, anywhere outside of these areas swearing is fair game. Not that I like to over-indulge in base language, but FFS there are arrangements to cater for people who don't want swearing. If I didn't want to hear it then I'd sit there.
