Mid West:

I heard that West Coast Hawks were up easily over Wirrulla.

Hawks won the B's and Wirrulla the colts.

So Lincoln South out in straight sets as we all expected. How can the roosters get within 10 goals of the peckers given the peckers have beaten the Demons and Eagles by about that margain in recent weeks?

The roosters do not have the pace or skill level to go with that pecker midfield/halfbackline and to be honest are not in the same ball park. What they do have is the ability to control the airwaves. Campbell, Cimarosti, George, Mason, Daniels, Magic and to a lesser extent Mason an d Cunninham are all good over head and this is where Tasmans must win the game.

The only way the roosters can be competative is if they just keep marking the ball. Can the undersized MP defenders bring the ball to ground for the mosquito fleet to mop up and carve up with skill and precision through the midfield?

I would suggest the TFC look at starting a fight early in the match.

Tip: Mallee Park 44 points

Panthers Won 3-0. Geez hockey is a s..t game. Dr Raj stand out . Good to see hockey fighting hard against hunger at least within there own ranks. Few pots of glue within both sides.

The above results do indicate a surprise, but that isn't it. :finga:

Not trolling at all MP.
I thought he would have grabbed enough of the big votes.
The other shock was B Hull not winning? how close was he?

Rama Army... anyone on the field can have a blinder and pull out the BOG, and a line of thinking might be that if Tassies are to upset Mallee Park, then it might have to be a guy from left field who makes the difference...

But another Grub would give you great odds...

Never thought I would say this, but good luck to Tasman FC on the weekend in the big one.
If they need any direction on how to win the game, have a look at their last flag. Make MPFC think you will be coming at them, but just get on with playing football.
I assume 3 umpire for the GF? If so this will help rattle them, as the normal stuff they get away with in the h&a should be pinged. The best way to get at them is on the scoreboard. Presure early and let them implode.

The greatest myth in plfl, is that we stirred them up in 2008. Absolute rubbish.
WFC fielded the youngest GF side in their history...no way we were going to get into a fight with them. Luckily for us they didn't know that..
All we did was play hard contested footy, and followed some simple team rules. Reckon CS should give TRR a call this week for a bit of insight.
