They've played too many League games, so they are ineligable

When both or all sides are in the finals qualification games don't apply for interchange between league/ressies and U18s.

Thanks for clarifying that am Bays, sorry Pidge, but didn't think that was the case at all mate...

So it must be a case of Roy Laird holding back Habel and Hardy or they are injured...

Surely that doesn't count for when the league side has a week off in the finals. Otherwise we could choose to play half our top team in the reserves this week. Heck, we could give Jay Nash a run in the reserves since he's had his week off.

My bet is any player who is reserves qualified can play, while any player who played the previous game in the reserves can apply for permission to play.

i think your spot on graham. when the sanfl sent central the list of players available this week switala wasnt included. the club seeked permission to play hin and it was approved.

while if the ressies win today next week is open selection for every central player. even though it would never happen effectively gowans could be dropped in the ressies next week

FINAL SCORES @ WOODVILLE

Reserves Elimination Final:

Central - 16.15 = 111

West - 8.11 = 59

Goal Kickers:

Central: T.Dunne, D.Hynes, L.Westhoff 3, J.Vater, M.Westhoff 2, M.Frail, C.Musolino, A.Switala 1

West: Br.Fisher, T.Langford 2, S.Birss, D.Webb, R.Blesing, M.Jose 1

Better Players:

Central: L.Westhoff, D.Hynes, T.Dunne, J.Schiller, C.Musolino, A.Duncan, J.Hannath, D.Haydon

West: S.Birss, Br. Fisher, T.Langford, J.Rowe, M.Jose

This now means Justin Hardy and Luke Habel are eligable to play for the Dogs reserves next week because the lCentral league side will be playing.

A rise from the ashes by the Dogs, who were 2-8 or something at one stage of the season.

One of those games where West were rarely more than 2 goals behind most of the day, but you couldn't work out why.

Centrals were far too good and although the margin blew out in the last quarter, West were very disappointing.

Shane Birss was once again a mile better than anyone else for West.

I think you may be right Pidge. Hardy said, he and Habel weren't eligible, something about too many league games. Not exactly sure.

What is going on at West?
Reserves coach livid that the senior coach came in and took over training during the week.
Not happy Jan, absolute control freak apparently.

Total nonsense.

I would have thought you'd have enough problems wondering what's happening at your club without trolling about West.

Obviously you are not in the know in your own club.

Too true but relevance factor zero.

Are you serious you didn't know about this?

Yes, ML, oldfella and I were, but I'd say you weren't.

Training was exactly as normal and the Reserves coach took training as usual on Friday.

I managed to catch the match from halfway through the 2nd qtr onwards. Not much in it up until after the 3/4 time break when Centrals turned it on.

Highlight for me was in the last quarter when West Adelaide decided to replace the person who was doing their (dodgy) kick ins after a point with Jeremy Rowe. His first kick in got cut off and resulted in a Dogs goal. I remember his name as I was giving him heaps from behind the goals after that stuff up!!!

If he was such a control freak, Why wasn't he coaching the team yesterday instead of sitting in the stand watching on.

Must have a different definition of 'Senior Coach' at North Adelaide.
