A bloke who averages 4-5 winners each week from only 20-25 races is probably worth harping on about I would've thought....

Harping on is one thing We Willy but i think Mal takes it a bit further than that, for pete's sake he can't string together two words without talking about him like he's god. You MUST admit Mal lays it on just a bit thick.

dg, mal is just trying to be entertaining & david gets the nickname 'hollywood' for one of his (initial) 'losing drives' when he won a race on protest & he made it look like he got polaxed by making it look like he almost fell out of the sulky, when in actual fact it was imho miniMAL contact....at the time i asked him about it & he said ''if you saw the head on shot you'd know it should have been upheld'' & then winked

now with only 6 races that were scheduled for tonight why wouldn't they add 3 races on saturday & 3 races on monday ???
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

UNITAB CHANGES TO MULTIPLE BETTING SAT GDP

4567 QUADRELLA
567 TREBLE
23 EXTRA DOUBLE
67 DAILY DOUBLE

All those multiples have been put forward by one race
I assume this will be the norm for all future fri/sat meetings
Full marks to the 5rph crew for announcing the changes on todays trotting show
Apparently the race books have the wrong legs listed
I wonder how many people will ring up on thier phone accounts and get caught out ?

QUADRELLA
Now the same races as the VIC/NSW Quaddies
I preferred it when it was races 3456 as it was 2 different quaddies I could take
I wonder if this initiative will increase the Unitab quaddie pools ?

BEST BET
R7-6 LOOK HERE BLOKE
This trotter is going super good
Was a rougish trotter in Victoria, but since joining the Lester Harding yard has become a genuine conveyance
With Hollywood in the cart, should be trusted on winning tonight
WIN

CARE WET TRACK
Likley to be very wet track tonight, if indeed they race

BAYMAN
Brought up an interesting point about re-allocating friday nights abandoned races to the sat/mon meets
Seems logical, but the logistics are the prob
Trainers/drivers may have other commitments on those days, there4 there might be a few scratchings
Also the downloading and re-loading of the fields and form on computers, papers, TABs etc etc at short notice would be a hassle
But a very good point raised

R7-6 LOOK HERE BLOKE
1st $1-10 [way to short]
Won and trotted faultlessly
But I saw the run of the night
3 IMAMUSCLESYANKEE in the same race was slow away and lost somewhere between 50 -100 metres
Made up an enormous amount of ground and finished about 25m off LOOK HERE BLOKE
Does plenty wrong on a consistent basis, but lookout if it does everything right

The much awaited SA debut by My Mate MAL

Career details
43 starts
3 wins
8 2nds
3 3rds
$43,400 in stakemoney

Now part owned and trained by Heather Stevens
One of the other owners is the Good SAMaritan

Has now won 2 trials in SA so should be fit enough

Ran a useful 3rd on debut, lobbed prominent off the 50m hcp
Off 10m Monday 6/9 at its 2nd run
Tougher race and My Mate MAL probably will run about 3rd or 4th

Take care ....

UNITAB CHANGES TO MULTIPLE BETTING FRIDAY 10/9/2010
Here we go again
Dunno who is responsible, but the Multis have changed AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGAIN
Please note
1-2 EXTRA DOUBLE
3-4-5-6 QUADDIE
4-5-6 TREBLE
5-6 DOUBLE

Last Saturday night it was changed to different races
Tonight it has changed again

So lets get the quaddie in perspective
SAT QUAD 4/9/2010 = 4/5/6/7
FRI QUAD 10/9/2010= 3/4/5/6
Now the big mystery is what legs of the quaddie will we have SAT 11/9/2010

Best Bet Friday 10/9/2010
R6-2 RYANS JOURNEY
Paul Cavawizard should expect to lead and over the 1800m and can expect to win
The main danger will be Hardings Jagged Knight, but only one of them can lead
Had JK drawn inside RJ , perhaps a different result
The wizard of South Oz v Hollywood Harding, will be great to see
WIN

The vagaries of Trotting races
BEATEM began well and held out RYANS JOURNEY
RYANS JOURNEY tried a 2nd time for the lead, but it appeared BEATEM was too fired up
RYANS JOURNEY sat in the death , dashed clear in the straight, but RONZEL SQUATTER who squatted in the run came home well to pip RYANS in the shadows of the post
Not disappointed with RYANS effort as I expected it to lead, ran a good 2nd
BEATEM ran last

MONDAY 13th SEPTEMBER

well the horses don't get much worse than this fellas!!
by ill try my best to give you all a winner.

Race 2) number 6 GRANDE SORRISO- ran a very nice race last start when 2nd to a very well respected horse in CC STAR. form reads well as CC STAR recorded another easy win friday when 1.70 fav.

Race 3) number 2 LASAIL- weakest trot race I've seen in a long time, settled with LASAIL as it may find the top and that would be a big advantage in a race like this, only danger in JEWELLED which is likely to start favorite.

Race 4) number 5 DOUBLE TALKN JIVE- not the best draw and will settle near last but should have a little to much class here and swoop past them at the finish.

RACE 5) number 1 TIS A CHARMER- should get the lovely sit on TAPCRACKER and over the 2230 mite just have enough 2 outrun the leader up the straight.
