Correct me if im wrong but i have only 4 TV players which played juniors for the club and 7 Echunga. From TV i only think Jantke Fawcett Wilhelm And Wingrove. Echunga have Munn Guy Rothe Fleming Bailey Sheehan and Edmonds. I think Echunga are much better served by their locals.

I think its is an absolute credit to the people of the Kangarilla Football club that their u/17's are playing in their 2nd straight GF and u/15's playing in their 3rd straight!

I remember in 2004 (when i first started playing 18's) we did not win a game, and had to rely on Hackham to provide us with up to 7 players to put 18 on the park. this was our only junior grade.

in 2005 we had 1 junior team, 14's that had 15 players and only won only 2 games for the year.

from that team we have built the juniors up to more than 25 in both grades...

this year was the first year since 2005 that we have have an influx of juniors into the seniors.

a fantastic period of re-development for the club,

in saying that i pick both kangy teams to get up this weekend!

go the blues!

I have no association with any HFL side (Central or Country) I have seen a couple games about 10 yrs ago. This is a good result and good to hear of growing numbers for a Footy club.
Good luck Kangarilla and I look forward to seeing the results after the weekend.

Not 100% sure, but I don't believe Aaron Wingrove played colts for TV - pretty sure he played all his colts at Birdwood before getting cleared to TV.
So that could make 3.

only having 7 locals (who played juniours at the club) is still very low.

I unfortunately don't feel Echunga can replicate what happened two weeks ago. Torrens Valley with both McDowell and Sitters back look a lot stronger and i feel that unfortunately that was the loss the mountain lions needed ( echunga 2 weeks early ).

I am tipping a blow out

Torrens Valley have what is needed in a Grand Final, they are too physically strong and will intimidate some of the younger smaller Echunga players with their attack on the ball and body.

Torrens Valley by 10 to 15 goals.

Extremely happy to be wrong on this , but that is my gut feeling.

My tips for tomorrow

Torrens Valley by 35 points - echungas GF was in the 2nd semi. would like to see the dees get up but think 2011 will be their time. Gunning BOG with jacques my roughie

Bs Torrens Valley by 8 points - hard to split these teams. will be close. wilhelm or kleeman BOG

17s Kangarilla 15 points - meadows ripe for the picking. mitch mcdonald 2nd BOG in a row in a GF

Kangarilla by 3 points - been under a goal every time these sides have played this year... but montgomery to win the medal

13s Echunga because they should at least win one for the day.

Classy speach by a Premiership Coach yesterday. Finishes off with 'Screw you Kersbrook'. Could be a little bit bitter about the last 2 Grand Finals

Would be strange, given the vast distances between the clubs geographically. At least 2 and half hour's drive.

Terrific performances by Ben Gunning and Scott Mazzone for TV in the A Grade on Saturday.
Great to see another flag for the Club :D
The future certainly augurs well for Echunga with quite a young pacy side, and with a number of teams in the finals, Echunga look to have a succesful period ahead.
Congratulations to Kersbrook in the B Grade. What a sensational finals record that B Grade team has.

Really? That's a bloody sour note to finish on.
Any word yet if all players are sticking around when TV come up next year?
