Rumour mill has it that Greg Anderson may have an offer on the table from West Adelaide to join the Assistant Coaching staff under Collins.

Rumour mill has it that Daniel Healy will NOT get the "Don't come Monday" afterall.

Instead, today he'll get the "Don't come Friday (tomorrow)" ....

With Griffen involved at North, I wonder if it North will try to limit their significant payout on some legal technicality?

Griffen used to be on the board (by invite) but no longer is.

I question what benefit assistant coaches are at our level. They certainly don't help Westies score any more goals. Maybe one as a sounding board but 2 or 3 I reckon is excessive.

Bunton I think your mail is pretty good and especially regarding a technicality which may reduce the payout [ie. Stirlingate] ;) ;)

I also thought Ando was a done deal to coach Gepps Cross in 2011.

personally i would be happy to have marlon motlop at the Dogs. He has seriuos pace (something the dogs probably lack) and uses the ball very well. I think Elizabeth Oval would suit him.

No doubt he would need to work on his defensive side and work rate (similar to james boyd) but if he didnt improve it that area than he would be stuck in the ressies and worse case scenario we send him packing to the ammos. Money is not an issue either.

Recentley we have done well out of Slattery, Jenner, Nason, Boyd why not give Marlon a crack.

I'd give him away free with a packet of Cornflakes ... even then North will be struggling for takers.

Actually I think it would be great if the Doggies replace the Gowan's with players like M. Motlop etc as it will finally lead to cracks in the Empire

Boyd in particular and Slattery were already very good players at their previous club. Ware was never given a go by D Hart and I don't know that much about Jenner at Port.
