why would Freo be interested in Motlop?
They have a good young list that will develop nicely, & I can Motlop being surplus to their requirements.

CARLTON may have a tough task hanging onto promising ruckman Sam Jacobs who is open to the idea of a return to his home state of South Australia.

Key word there being little .... little work rate ... little desire to chase .... little ability to follow team rules ... But alot when it comes to playing for himself . He's all yours

I think most clubs would like a fit a firing Motlop in their team. How you get the best out of him though is somewhat of a mystery.

Did anyone hear Rowey on 5AA this morning? Apparently said Pav has been offered $1.2m a year from Gold Coast, $1.1m from Collingwood & $800k from Adelaide....His preference would be Adelaide so his manager has said if Adelaide can find another $200k he's in.

Freo would want 2 1st Round Draft Picks + Griffin + another player

As this has come from Rowey however it has no credibility at all.

Why would you give up so much if you were Adel for Pav though? I mean he is a star but 2 1st round picks, $1m a yr & 2 players i think is just stupid!

Bloody ridiculous. Carey anyone?

You'd get a bit more value out of Pav that Carey, but still not worth throwing the kitchen sink at when you're only gonna get two or three years out of him.

Just the same old crapola that comes out every time Pavlich contract comes up for renewal. He must get sick of it - he ain't going anywhere.

Yeah, let's go and play for Adelaide now that they are missing the finals at a time when Freo's window is just opening. Makes sense to me.

.... and then Pav's manager takes all these pay offers back to Freo and they match it and he's got his client a nice pay increase for one of the last contracts he will sign in his career ...

With Freo finally showing some signs that they could become a strong force in the next few years I'd be really surprised if Pav chooses to jump ship now. Especially to clubs who are a year or 2 away from premiership success at least (excluding Collingwood of course).

How long has Pavlich lived in Perth? 10-11 years?

All of his adult life has been spent in Perth and I would say wife/girlfriend, business interests and closest friends are all in Perth.

There is no chance he returns to Adelaide.

Wouldnt rule it out Booney. he has always shown an interest in coming back (only to the crows if it was a player), and his closest friends are actually out of the club at the end of this year (hasleby, matthew and josh carr, dean soloman).

Would not rule out a move, and even to the Gold Coast with the fact that Soloman is an assistant coach there which could persuade him.

For what its worth, i think he will make the move after football back to Adelaide, but he will definitely be living in Adelaide in the near future IMO

As Booney tried to point out Pav was never any chance CK. Anyone who thought Pav was must be one of those extremely sad crows supporting peanuts with no life but has a dupercoach/cream team.

This is the same as his comments that Primus will end up on the bench and that Scott will be announced as coach at the B n F dinner. Geez they have a go at Ralph the rumour man for talkning crap then Rowey gets on and talsk sh!t without the facts and then gets it completely wrong. Clown A grade Clown. As much as i love him and the show hypocrecy is a very strong suit
