My Ladder Prediction

Postby Cheech » Sun Jan 21, 2007 9:13 pm

This is how I predict the ladder will be based on what I have heard and seen last year:

1. MORPHETT VALE - Heard they lost a few to Victor Harbour, not sure who.. but still has to be favourite due to strong Res team
2. COVE - Haven't gained or lost anyone, strong 18's as from last year... but they drop their bundle under pressure.
be bit of a gap I reckon
3. HAPPY VALLEY - I reckon they've dropped off a bit from a couple of years ago... they will be around the mark still.
4. BRIGHTON - No real changes from last year, quality coach.
5. FLAGSTAFF HILL - Youngsters another year older... will be the big improver
6. PORT NOARLUNGA - heard they may have lost some? But always seem to be around the mark
7. REYNELLA - I think they stuggled a bit last year.... their still relying a bit on their older blokes, not as much quality coming through.
8. NOARLUNGA - Not much different from Last Year, will be up and down for most of the year
9. MARION - I've heard they have a bit of cash and bought some players.... will last as long as the money is round.
10. CHRISTIES BEACH - Going down hill.... Thats what happens when you recruit your coach from Morphettville pk.
11. LONSDALE - Clinchy will bring back some club spirit and heart... but still dont quite have enough talent.
12. ALDINGA - Will improve - still a few years away from challenging top 4. maybe even 8.
13. MORPHETTVILLE PK. - Last year was the worst I have ever seen them... can still get worse.
14. HACKHAM - Err... not much i can say? Need 30 new players!

Hawks.... I thought you said before, you said Hackham was going to be a top 8 side?
To be honest.... If you can get 21 blokes on the ground you should count that as a win!!
Not like last year where 8 B-grade players come off the ground in the last quarter so they can Suit up for the A Grade game and get pumped again...

Last year i watached a poor hackham Junior play Under 16s then B Grade then A grade. The poor kid could not stand at 3/4 time in the A Grade, let a lone get a kick.

Not a bad come back there, did you think of it all by yourself?

Have a look back a few post and you where saying you heard the SFL had some dirty players, sounds like you will fit in at Hackam.

Would be a better idea if you guys spent more time working out how to play the game

Hawk i thought you ask earlier about the SFL having some head hunters. Sounds like you could be the head hunter. That's not what this league needs.

"QUOTING" Gday all, just gonna throw a few quick ones out there for u to think bout, Firstly Morphettville Park coach only signed on a six week probation no wins he wants out!!!!!!
Reynella picked up a gun from Mannum hasnt played for a few years might slip under the guards of a few. But on the other hand have some conflict brewing between some close mates within the club.
Morhpett Vale got Matt and Sam Joraslafsky back and are confident of 4 in a row!!!!
Cove got Greg (i have problems communicating with my players) Anderson too coach a mob of division 1 wannabes.

got more but just give u those for now happy reading.

In Regard to the Morph park coaching contract, they play Hackham and Aldinga 3rd and 4th game of season, so if u cant get at least 1 win there, I would be quitting too. :!:

Coaching the Lions this year will Doug Clinch Sr. He was a longtime junior coach with O'Sullivan's Beach and was involved Flaggies 2 years ago.

No big recruits but a few old faces returning after playing a season 2 out of the SFL.

I know 100% that jeremy rigney is playin with trevor at jervois this year!!!!

I think Trevor is a fair bit better. Jezza has been slowed by a serious knee injury that seems to have taken a bit of his confidence.

The problem with both of them in the same team is that they're brothers, and nobody fights like brothers when they get going. 2 seasons ago they got into a punch up running onto the ground against Morphett Vale
