Have seen Brett Woodards around Angaston in his 2010 Premiers t-shirt already,
I thought the team had all signed the back of it but on closer inspection realised Brett had just signed it 21 times.

Not sure they've got there just yet! Don't think they'd be silly enough to have them printed prior to winning......................or would they?

A mate of mine claims he did trouble them. Mainly at a ball up or throw ins when he got int he way as was hiding behind them.

Great story there... Tumby Bay in Great Flinders were pretty dominant a couple of years back (ex Norwood forward Chris Prime was a 100+ goal kicker for them), and after the (I think) 2007 grand final thumping win, they were very confident...

Grand final 2008 rolls around, and they've got to the game undefeated, and yup, premiership shirts all printed...

First loss of the year, and a lot of egg on the face... :D

Preliminary Final

Southern Flinders v Crystal Brook not played Saturday due to concerns of a creek near the gound.
All areas around the ground were atrocious to get any person or car near the ground.
Hopefully the game will now be played on Sunday.

I hear Brett Woodards sustained a horrible elbow injury yesterday,
suffered from signing any fibre that would display ink I am led to believe.
Also, it would seem over the top that he did 2 extra victory laps without the team after the game.
He was last sighted heading to the Key-mate shop at Elizabeth as he felt his name should be inscribed on the premiership cup.

I witnessed him single handedly inspire the Southern Flinders boys to victory.
He rolled up to the game on crutches, had a quarter-zone injection, threw his crutches away and then put on his superman suit.
I began to have flashbacks, as the last time I seen courage and determination shown like this was by The Kid in the 1989 Grand Final.

OK, so either the Duke or King of Smoo is Brett Woodards and the other is his boyfriend. Please dont fill up this site with anymore Woodards crap if he plays next year. I saw the game also and felt he didn't contribute a whole lot .... and I believe he didnt get a vote in the medal this year also. Find a someone worthy of all this press to talk about. ie Matt Woolford, Cody Turner etc

Mate, the 2 blokes you have mentioned must be average, I havent heard of either of them.
If you are not sold on Brett Woodards's abilities then I think you need to have a sit down with the boy,
he will gladly go through the finer details of how good he is.
Apparently his hamstring was struck by lightning on Friday and still fronted up Saturday. Amazing.

Woodards also died of a brain haemorrhage on Saturday morning, but was still able to front up and win the game for the Tigers. Inspirational.
