Have played quite a few games at Kilburn in 08 and 09. Nice large oval, pretty sandy base from memory, handled rain quite well. However, never played after a torrential downpour like we just experienced. Would easily be up there with the best facilities in the armature league (both home and visitor and also spectators). Good luck to everyone on Saturday. And PG – you could say they haven’t played footy there in a couple of years.

yeah i think the lower quality grounds like campelltown and richmond oval have been given to the lower divs for that reason.

I think thats why Div 4 have it now. Kilburn has got Div 5 and we've got Richmond cos it's a little boggy. Not the worst I've seen by far but if the rain doesn't stay away we might be in for a bit of a slog.

Ha! This is a SAAFL GF, meaning a ban on these simple pleasures of local footy.

Don't forget to bring ten bucks to get in
