Not so sure about that :-?

As long as I have known, the HFL have always played the 2 teams that particpate in an 'A' grade Final at a neutral destination. The Colts and B grade have always been irrelevant.

It'll be a historical day, being the first HFL Grand Final ever played at Kersbrook.

It would be a very boring grand final day if all teams had good luck Sorce.

"Pristine surface" does this mean its been cut, [unlike 2 weeks ago] has it dried out around the boundary [mud with grass in it two weeks ago] I'm also glad you missed out on all the rain, and bad weather [flooding in some parts] that the rest of the towns in the hills have had, or are the games being held at the local bowls club. "Pristine" is what Adelaide Oval is, what we will get at Kersbrook is a surface to play football on and thats only if it stays dry for the rest of the week, I would think that any oval that has not had football played/trained on it since the end of the minor round would be a "pristine surface". Or did I miss the inside joke in this discription. Also the vidoe footage I took two weeks ago shows the playing surface to be a lush "yellow" colour, unlike the surrounding areas, must have been something wrong with my camera.

Dear Diddy. Sorry, didn't mean to whinge, was just trying to point out that the oval wasn't flash a fortnight ago, and if weather keeps up couldn't see it getting any better. As I said at the start of my reply, Sorry. I unlike the rest of the posters on this forum, will now keep my opions to myself. Regards The Poacher. p.s. Say hello to everyone at the Gladstone Combine part of your club for me.

I went to have a look at Kersy oval last night not realising that the b grade would be training i would have to say the oval is in pristine condition with some of the players training in their sneakers because it so dry.

With the GF being this weekend, how many locals would be in both sides? about half? It would be interesting to see if Echunga has as many imports as TV, maybe not all with the same profile.

Who from TV actually played juniors at the club. Perryman did I think. Does he still play. Might be one or two others. Echunga would have 10 I would have thought at least.

What defines an import.
for example is anthony cooper import or local at TV. I would say getting some cash, played elsewhere in the hills but has moved to mt torrens and runs a business there.
Are the guys who left Lofty for Echunga for a greater opportunity imports or just hills blokes looking for greener pastures.
If i was to answer my own question i would say:
Cooper a local TV player.
The echunga one might be more complex.
Maslin , Agars , Weydling can't be considered imports for as far as i know don't recieve any coin and wanted a greater opportunity to play A grade footy.
Fleet on the other hand i would consider am import because ( i am only speculating ) he would be recieving some sort of cash incentive.
