Pretty impressive effort to get 8 on the weekend!

I'd like to see the team line up as follows this weekend:

F: Rimington Welsh Lane
HF: Goldsworthy Grocke Treeby
C: Polec Powell Jarrad
HB: McKenzie Thompson Smith
B: Staple Greiger Giuffreda
R: Parry Lewis Cicolella
I: Rowntree Miles Allmond

In: Welsh, Lane, Smith
Out: Redden, Symmons, Day

First final will hopefully have Broadbent and Hentschel back and if we get any further hopefully Salter is fit to play.

I would like the Sturt team to line up as

F: GILES GILES GILES
HF:GILES GILES GILES
C : GILES GILES GILES
HB: GILES GILES GILES
B : GILES GILES GILES
R :GILES GILES GILES

INTERCHANGE:-MCINTYRE HERRING BOWEN RISCHBIETH JOHNCOCK CHAMBERS GUM SHEEDY HINGE McGLONE FITTOCK BODE NELSON McLEAY MILES VASSAL HASSAN CRANE CUBILLO (They all deserve a run as all played well last week)

Ins Thurstan
Out no one

Errm... Radio? Any radio coverage? The ABC game usually doesn't get broadcast on radio, right?

This is cut from PhilH's post in the Media Allocations thread

"ROUND 23 - Sunday Sept 5
Norwood v West - LifeFM from 1.30pm

Eagles v Sturt - ABC TV / LifeFM Duo-cast

- I've confirmed with the SANFL that we will have the live phone line to Woodville
for LifeFM to do live crosses through the quarters from Norwood all through Sunday afternoon.

- Given what is at stake we will have as many updates as reasonable from both grounds
as the season heads to a very climactic final day."

So I guess not Theri.

Redden & Day were very quiet in 2nd half last week. Were they injured or just quiet?

They were just quiet SANFLnut. Both named this week. Smith the only inclusion to a 22 man squad. Gives a chance for those players who performed poorly last week to make amens.

Sturt should have beaten us last time at Woodville. Ironically, after last week, it was our good kicking and efficiency in the forward line (and Sturt's lack of) that won us that game.

Very unlikely that West will beat Norwood IMO so this game is most likely a meaningless encounter!

Redden was two teamed most of the day.He is a stay at home FF .But the Eagles couldn't get the ball in fast enough for his height to be an advantage.
Day is more of a worry he went down back and did a bit more after !/2 time

"A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away the last remaining group of rebels were about to battle with the forces of the dark side in an attempt to restore balance to the SANFL.

The Rebels have intelligence that the Dark Forces are alligning for 6 final battles to crush all remaining resistance throughout the SANFL System.

The Double Blue Rebels are the only ones that can CRUSH these forces and ultimately defeat the Dark Lord, Darth Doggius and thus The Empire.

However, after over coming Darth Doggius' Elite Forces' ambush in the Cambridge Quadrant the Rebels are faced with another battle against The Eagali, an ominous foe who almost crushed The Rebels into oblivion in two previous attacks. The Eagali have set up a blockade in the Woodvillian System in an attempt to stop the Rebels' advance towards the ultimate battle with Darth Doggius and fulfilling their DESTINY.

Unknown to the Eagali The Rebels have a set up a secret base on the strange moon of Treeby. Before the Battle of Treeby The Double Blue Rebels are scouring their strongholds looking for recruits to strengthen their forces to bathe in the ultimate glory and bask in the wholesome glow of THE FORCE.

This Sunday, The Rebels are gathering on the Western Wing of Treeby to make a surprise attack on the Eagali, Jedi Jade Sheedwalker will be leading the attack and is asking that YOU join The Rebels and help defeat the Eagali.

May the Spirit of Obi-wan-jackoatey be with you."

I can confirm the phone line configuration was tested friday and works

So LifeFM will do its best to cover two games at the same time
Don Cooper will be at Woodville
John Nankivell, Doug Oakley, Phil Aspinall at Norwood

Don will be hooked up live during the call and we will get as regular updates as required.
