Too Unsafe? I remember playing at Barker couple years ago in a cest pool, can't see them being any worse then that

It's only Friday arvo... we don't play till Sunday...

Find other venues then for christ sake... If Callington is safe enough then I'm sure there's other ovals safe enough too. Drive out to Milang for crying out loud...
As much as you all hate IB oval it will drain incredibly quickly and be "safe" for football. In fact it could do with a bit of rain as it was pretty rock hard in the middle at training Thursday

No one will attend HFL Grand Final day over AFL Grand Final day too. HFL already having a bad name spread around thanks to the messy relegation worries and now this...

If this is true, which I still can't believe it is, then it's an ABSOLUTE JOKE.

GF will now be on AFL Grand Final day, what a load of ****! I know we had a footy trip paid for for that weekend. Thanks HFL

Surely they could postpone the juniors & play double headers at Callington? Country one day & central the next???

Apparently there is a 6 foot hole in Lobethal oval due to a pipe bursting?

Cant see why that should stop Sunday's games at Uraidla, find another oval and play Saturday's games on sunday.

Play the double chance final at Uraidla and the knock out at Ironbank, seriously people, get over yourselves and use a ground that is available

Wow! Well that is resonable cause to change ovals indeed.

Lets hope common sense prevails and the above or similar happens

By all means play it at Ironbank! it appears the HFL has reacted far too quickly here.... surely another ground could have been found! apparently all board members agreed with the decision.

Lobethal is unsafe, but why should that have both days cancelled completely!

Obviously the board members don't have anything better to do on the 25th of September

Lets hope they realise it's not too late to change their minds..

Why don't the remaining clubs threaten to forfeit the finals all together, see how the HFL reacts then. What a JOKE your league is becoming.

Yeah, play it at Balhannah, or play it at Hahndorf and then it gets a week to rest for the GF.

I see the main problem is having enough time for a host club to get things organised so have it on Sunday.

I will do what ever I have to tomorrow to help organise a final at Ironbank if that is what it is going to take to get some sense into this league.

I don't care where it is played, just sort it out.

I know several players who will most likely be playing in the HFL grand final who have tickets and accomodation booked for the AFL grand final. I hope the HFL will endorse compensation as this will cost them thousands.
