Get Benny Cousins to organise the entertainment, and refreshments... ;)

That'll make for a more interesting event... :D

Its on a Monday Night and the only way it will ever work is for it to
become an upmarket event and get the girls to frock up and come
along.
I dont mind the idea of a nice venue and the clubs picking up a grand
for no work but it might suffer from small attendance this year.

agree with ya on the Monday night KWF and upmarketing the event, however the problem with not selling the tickets is the club is out of pocket for those tickets unsold.

so if the BFC only sell $500 worth of tickets (10). then they have to make up the $1000 difference. The $1000 that they sold the event for?

So $9,000 gross for the night. Say dinner is included and to feed everyone costs $3,000 plus the $1,000 to buy the event. total expenses $4,000. The Lincoln make a cool $5,000 plus drinks over the bar.

Clubs should look at the big picture before selling the event.

And $$$ for the guest speaker... or maybe he's being paid in pies... ;)

Did we all read Bluey's column...?

I'm suggesting that triple-Premiership winning AFL player D. Jarman will be a well-rounded guest speaker... :D

Souths are screwed... They've got Jericho, White, Kemp, Snake, Dunn, who will all take votes off of each other, and blokes like Jay Williams and Stoetzer, who will get votes when they've had a day out... Souths will dominate the top ten-fifteen vote getters, but they'll have ruined each others chances...

Tasmans are similar... Semmler (ineligible), Magic, Mason, MJ, Doddy, will go alright, and Cimma and Johann when they've kicked a bag... Again, ruining each other...

Bostons... NO.

Waybacks... Muzza for me is the best shot, but Minya, Keatley, Vogelsandwich, Hyphen, will go as good as always- Kayser (ineligible) has had a good year also...

Rangers... MP will be their best, and one of the reasons I have been talking him up is that there really hasn't been anyone else from Rangers to take votes away...

Mallee Park... Harry will poll well when he played, but obviously cannot win, and probly missed too much... At the business end, Mal and Wes came back- and PD kicked into high gear, and that's where the votes will go there, but they haven't played enough...

On that logic, I've been picking Muzza or MP all year, and I'm going MP all the way now...

Heard again last night that the magpies are on the move east.
According to the constitution they must give notice by the 31st of October to the PLFL
Would they go teal?

What magpies are you talking about KWF? Is it the PAFC what league are they gunna play in ?

Good one from the League of Misinformation...

Apparently the clubs have all the tickets to the dinner, yet they're advertising that you can by them from the League office, and from the PL Hotel...
