I'm a veteran of the 2008 Div 4 Season, when both North Haven & Portland were in the same division...

I just wanted to say thank you to the Portland guys who came out to the SAWFL games on Sunday

Considering i came off injured 2minutes into the game, i had plenty of time to notice your gathering over at the black ute i could even hear the "YOOOOUUUUU DOOOOGGGGSSS" chant from the other side of the oval

Amazing effort to make it out to the early game even though the Port girls werent playing until 2:30.

... as the secretary of the SAWFL, on behalf of the League i would like to say THANK YOU for spending your sunday afternoon with us

we bloody enjoyed ourselfes aswell. we set up camp around there as the boys were planning on having a few and didnt want to upset people round near the club. after the last game the port girls walked across to us and gave us a thanks and a clap, was bloody hellarious when the fires come to put out on bonfire we made, they thought it was hellarious and had a bit of fun with one of the boys wanteing to be squired by the hose so the Fireman obliged good day had by all. you Wernt the Lady that was takin in the ambulance were you K.L.A.G

the bloke that was on duty was a great bloke, the police rocked up about 5 mins after and he went straight over to the cops and said these blokes are ok guys not causing any harm so they niccked off.
were glad we had him sturtman and not you cos your a Pr!ck

No mine wasnt bad enough for an ambulance... i just needed to drink some cement, haha. I was the girl who made her poor boyfriend carry her across the oval at half time of the first game because she couldnt walk ...so if salisbury lose on the weekend its coz their captain injured himself carrying a heavy load at the SAWFL

Also, I heard about the firies incident... very nice way to end the day being cooled off after a long day at the footy how exactly did you guys manage to start the bonfire? Hadn't it been pissing down??? You could give bear grylls a run for his money

well as you may have notice there was a few cartons consumed and plenty of smokers over there so the combination of beer cartons rubish out the boys car, couple of bits of timber (back of the ute) and cigerete lighters we got her going

well you definitely had a great set up happening over that side. It looked very cosy I'm still impressed at how the fire started. Keeping the rubbish dry in the cars is genious as im sure the rubbish was in the car purely to start a fire haha
