Normally I highlight all the winners on the programme thingy but forgot this year

That div 3 count was a cracker!

For everyone bar one :(

Thats it, when your club wins 17 games you expect one of your players to poll well and he did.
I shook his hand and congratulated him afterwards to.. Seems like a good bloke..

Congrats where they are due to the SAAFL for last nights medal count. Good feed plenty to drink.

On the downside several things they could do to just tidy it up.

Get an MC the CEO while trying was lost at times. The same with the auction get an auctioneer might just get a bit more money.

Too many awards handed out on the night people lost interest.

The most disappointing thing was after the 3-way tie in D1 and players went to collect their medals The CEO did not know who the coach from Broadview was and introduced him as Jason Turner and asked him how did he think Henley would go in the finals and who thier opponent would be. A little bit embarrassing.

$90.00 was a bit rich when we saw posters there for other events at $65 & $80 for the same type of shows with a few extras

but overall a good night 8/10 just tidy up those few things up and they are right on track

Congratulations to Hay from Salisbury North & Turner from Henley and to our Coach Scotty well deserved winners.

Presentation night at Broadies will go off big time now.
Two medals
3 in the team of the year
2 players off to South Africa
U/18 leading goal kicker
Pity no premierships to go with it
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Always give plaudits when they are do. Not against the Exe just when they stuff up or don't think.

More efforts like last night and they are on the right track. Might just need an outsider to manage the night like a floor manager.

Thats what we do at Broadies. We have an MC and myself and an off sider act as floor managers to keep our Preso night on track. We will have a busy night but we had 200+ last year and finished only 10 minutes behind schedule. Not bad for 5 grades with a live count and other awards.

Good, I hope you have a great presentation night, I know the feeling of running such events and how easy they can go off track. I've learnt that it's best to keep an itinerary with the MC to keep to the schedule and make sure volunteers get mentioned etc.
