great win for heccies yesterday! played really good team footy. still plenty of work to be done though. not often you have a chance to go back to back. good to see after sliding from div 3 to div 6 we are working our way back up the divisions.

With Hodges calling it a day at Seaton, what are the chances of Matz & his shadow ( Cavanagh ) returning to Seaton?
I suppose they'll wait & see who gets the coaching job, hoping its someone they can dictate & get their own way with.
I'm sure they'll be back.

After making the finals and with Matz on coin I reckon they'll stay and Rossies. I don't think your mate quitting will have much effect on their decision to stay or leave.

As everyone seems to be on a media ban  Duncs included ;)
I thought I would say well done to BigShow for getting The Lodge's B Grade into the prelim and hopefully a GF
He has continued the good work that Tony Kuhndt did last year in getting the B Grade to play finals (1st Semi) for the first time since 1994

The club like all clubs has gone through some tough times and its good to see those that have stuck around getting some enjoyment from the game

Once again well done big fella

I thought we had the only Kuhndt going around ???
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Prelim Final Tips

A Grade - BL v E - with margins of 46, 44 and 64 over Elizabeth this year it is difficult to look past Brahma Lodge. But, funny things happen in finals, Elizabeth to fly into the GF in an upset.

B Grade - E v BL - split the results this year with Brahma Lodge up by 20pts in rd 3 and Elizabeth up by 56 in rd 12. Elizabeth for me in the 2's.

Great work by both clubs getting their A's and B's deep into finals action.
