Thats good news mate.. blokes like Mick Curry have put blood, sweat and tears into that club for quite a few years now! They're a good bunch of blokes too.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

lol yeah jim batting 11 last year and not making as many runs as a top 4 batsmen is not good enough...

ha... pretty sure it was the worrying about 'what other people are doing' part of the sentence that i was relating too...

oh... i thought it was a cricket forum, and just expected it to relate to cricket.. maybe your next sledge could be cricket related hey??

Doubt it Duck-mann, you would think if there was a program out it would be on the PDCA website and its not. There maybe a preliminary program for clubs to look at but I dont think your source is correct.

why wouldnt he be hurting. i guess when he took the job and had some MATES come along for the ride he was feeling pretty good as was the club, and to have a tough 1st season with the bat but a succesful season with a new and young side he would of been very optimistic in what lays ahead. i suppose the reason for the hurt is two of the recruits played 1 game and the other played the season to win the Peter Wang Memorial Trophy and then move on after thinking he was staying. I would say he feels let down, but maybe it only matters to him. yes its only a game of cricket but one that brings out passion. Lets stop the stupid games and move on because thats what the IFDCC plans to do. Good luck to R&C i hope it all falls into place.

Just out of curiosity, with the season fast approaching, have all clubs begun training yet?

Has anyone organised any trial games - internal or external yet or still too early?
