i actually have a bit of a conspiracy theory behind this.

Birmingham were due to play LEEDS last weekend, in what on paper appeared would be an easy home victory as Leeds are heading for relegation.

they laid a new surface at ST ANDREWS and it didnt meet the standards required and the game was postponed.

so the Brummy lads had a rest over the weekend and watched Newcastle perform a great result at WHITE HART LANE and may have been a tad worried by what they saw by Newcastles reserve team.

so my theory is that Birmingham deliberately made sure the ground was unplayable so they could get a rest before the replay against Newcastle.

came from 2-0 now, to draw 2-2 with West Ham a little while ago.
